Chapter 32

A few lonely boring hours after Robin left I decided I needed to go for a walk. As I slowly and painfully moved myself out of the bed. No amount of pain was going to keep me there. Like Robin said, I can't stay still for long periods of time. I finally managed to get out of the bed and started walking towards the door. My walking was awkward because of the pain and I really wished I had my ocelot suit because this gurney felt weird.
Wow. Mount justice is huge. I ended up finding dozens of unused bedrooms and storage spaces. A room with a lot of couches and bookshelves, looked kind've like a psychiatrists office.
All the hallways looked amazing with the rocky walls and metal floor.
Eventually I made it into the lounge. A room I was familiar with. The room I met the team. I hope how they talked to me isn't how they treat all of their guest. The lounge was empty so I moved on to the huge circular room with the Zeta tubes.
The entire team was crowded around the circle. All watching the holographic screen that showed a map of Gotham as Batman was explaining something.
It was kid flash that saw me watching from the doorway.

"Hey. We have an audience." He said and ran towards me. "Hey beautiful. How ya healing"

He rested his arm on my shoulder.

"Argh" I cried as he irritated one of my burns.

He immediately removed his arm from my shoulder.

"Oh. You're not healing very well then. Sorry." Kid flash Apologised.

"I'd stay away from Baywatch" said Artemis. "He's an idiot."

"No I'm not. I'm an A+ student. Thank you very much."

"Yeah. A+ in being an idiot."

"Guys please the last thing Oce needs is you two arguing in front of her." Robin said waking up and taking me just outside the room.

"Hey. I thought I told you to rest." He said.

"I'm am rested. I've got full energy."

"Yeah but you're not fully healed. You can hardly walk."

"I know. I just hated being in that med bay alone with nothing to do. What are you guys doing in there?"

"Oh we are just finding possible locations for where this mother of yours might be able to hide a doomsday weapon. You can join in if you want. I'm sure the others won't mind."

"Yeah. Ok."

We were about to walk back into the room when I stopped.

"Hey Rob."

"Yeah"

"What happened to my suit? I don't like waking around in this gurney."

"Oh that. Um. It was kind of destroyed in the the explosion. It was terrible. Some of it melted onto you're body."

"Eww." I shuddered. "Damn. I really liked that suit. Who dressed me? It wasn't you, was it?"

"What? Oh No. No. No. That was Black Canary. She's the team trainer and phycologist."

"Oh. Ok cool."

We walked back into the room. All eyes suddenly laid upon us as we walked in and joined the group.

"Ocelot. How are you?" Batman looked like he wasn't happy to see me. Then again, he's never happy.

"Um good." I said. "I just want to thank you guys for saving me. I owe every single one of you."

"Thank Robin. He's the one that figured out where you were by using that tranquilliser dart we found on the ground." Said Kalder.
