"It no longer feels like home"

The (h/c) girl wrote in her dairy before allowing it to be dotted in tears.

She then closed the book while trying once more to hold back the tears, and placed it by her nightstand, laid on her bed, then took out her phone.

She texted the one whom she trusted. More than herself, and more than her home which is falling apart.

From:(y/n)
To: Sou

"Hey...sou.... can we meet right now?"
[Sent at 2:30am]

Just as it was sent, she placed her phone down and took her wallet and a small bag. Stuffed her wallet in, a protable charger and wire, put on a pullover and jumped out her window, landing safely on the ground down below.

Her phone beeped, signalling a message.

From: Sou
To: (Y/n)

"Be there in 5 mins. Usual place?"
[Sent at 2:35am]

She looked at the message and quickly made her way to the dark and quiet park. She sat on the fountain, awaiting for him to arrive.

While she waited, she recalled the reason she was here, family breaking apart due to a simple misunderstanding, her mother crying softly in the washroom, her father had came home late, worrying her mother and once he was home, he didn't notice her puffy eyes, as though nothing happened, he smiled happily while her mother's eyes were red and puffy. Now that everyone was asleep, she snuck out.

She was deep in thought, not noticing the boy running towards her. He covered her in his jacket and pulled her towards him, burrying her face in his chest. His hands finding their way to her hair, gently comforting her as she let her tears fall freely, letting out soft cries.

He held her until her cries subsided, not caring about the time, as long as he could comfort her, he would do anything, even if it meant ricking his life for it.

As some time went by, her cries slowly subsided,  now a sniffling, sobbing mess. She wanted to speak, but her crying had made it hard for her.

She pulled away from the embrace and he wiped her tear stained face with a napkin, offering her some to blow her nose as well.

After she was alright enough to make her speech audible, he went to the nearest vending machine and bought some drinks for them.

Offering her a drink, she accepted and drank a little, soothing her dry throat. She was then pulled into his chest again, not caring if it was wet from her tears, he just wanted to comfort her, she began explaining her situation, he listened carefully to every word as his hands rubbed her back gently.

They stayed in that position for some time, with her face burried in his chest and him rubbin gher back, until she was done explaining, she felt slightly better, however still unable to get rid of the dread she felt inside along with a pang of guilt.

"What am i supposed to do now, Sou? I can't do anything to make them happy again, all i can do is cry, I'm so powerless, so useless. All i bring is misfortune-" before she could continue any further, he placed a finger at her lips, silencing her.

"Shh, its alright (Y/n), you're not useless, you don't bring misfortune. You couldn't do anything in that point of time, so you're not powerless either. You're not a mistake, not a girl who brings misfortune, its alright to cry, its alright to feel sad, but you don't have to carry that burden alone, you know that don't you? Thats the reason why you called me out right? So its alright to cry as long as i'm here, I'll always be here for you." As he finished, he smiled warmly at her.

The (hair coloured) girl felt loved, she felt that someone actually sincerely cared for her, she let out a small smile. He saw this and his warm smile remained as he messed up her hair slightly.

"I'll walk you home" he offered. The girl accepted his offer and they both left.

As they reached her house, he whispered "goodnight and sweet dreams" to her, giving hef a warm hug before kissing her forehead as a gesture showing that he sincerely cared for her. A light blush came across her face and she replied, "good night, Sou. Thanks for always being there for me"she kissed his cheek and said waved good bye as she skillfully climbed into her bedroom window in order to not wake anyone up at almost 4 in the morning.

She waved one last time from her bedroom window and he waved back, turning around to leave for his own home.

She was able to finally sleep in peace that night.

Alrighty then. I think it somehow got confusing halfway idk.

My mind was all over the place while writing this anyway😂

But in all honesty, i actually tend to base my stories on whats happening around me, so yea, there are times when home dosnt feel like home anymore and the feeling is horrible.

Im not very sure if its relatable or not, but i hope it was a good read.
