Take me away (Shakemii x Reader)

"As the days go by, I stare at the same sights. Never able to leave this place, nor to die.
Oh how i wish to leave once and for all, to end this torturous life of mine.
So what if mother and father are able to pay for my stay and keep me alive for the next day.
I am unable to move, to dance or to run, so are you finally here to take me away?"

As you laid on the dreadful white sheets, you asked the shadow like figure beside your bed. Although you could no longer move, you were able to move your neck.

It had a pair of dark angel-like wings, wore a dark, draping robe and held a menacing scythe at his side.

You've seen him every night, he just stayed there, watching over you, you've asked for his name countless times, but he remained a silent figure looming by your side.

You had long forgotten to fear him for you waited for his move to set you free. Each night you tried to converse, yet recieving silence, you gave up trying.

This night he was different, his hood was down for once and he was closer to you than ever before. You could make out his features even just a tiny bit given the beautiful shining moon the night skies provided.

As he approached you closer, you could see clearer. Just as he leaned in close to you, you finally heard his voice.

"Are you really alright with leaving everything behind tonight?" His voice to you was hypnotising and his features were making you curious, yet you just smiled and softly replied.

"It is meaningless to continie living like this, being paralysed after such a major accident, being unable to do what i worked so hard for the past who knows how long i've worked, and being unable to do it ever again. Making my parents go to great lengths to keep me happy, i smiled for them. I feel like i'm lying to them and besides, i would rather they live happily than to always worry about me. But... will you fulfill my final request?"

The figure moved so that you could see his face and he nodded. Your smiled widened as you said, "Will you please sing me a song? You see, while i spent so mich time here, the people who come to see me have given me songs to listen to and there was a singer i admired. He goes by the name Shakemii and his voice is very similar to yours, so i would love to hear you sing before my time ends. Will you please do it?"

The figure was taken a back for a moment, "alright, [Y/n][L/n], i shall sing for you, Lair Dance."

"ubatta? sore nan no koto kashira
shiranputte kyou o kasaneru no..."

As he sang, your eyelids were heavy, as you slowly fell into slumber, you caught sight of glistering tears falling down his face, as his singing wavered, you whispered ever so softly, "Thank...you...Sha..ke..mii..."

As sleep took over you, the weeping figure lifted up his scythe and whispered, "I'm sorry for not revealing myself..[Y/n], but i had to fulfill my duty as a shinigami.... and after watching over you...this whole time... you were not afraid...you tried to talk to me... i slowly felt warmth within... I have to fulfill my duty... please forgive me.. [Y/n].."

He embraced your sleeping form one final time, a smile forming on your face.

He released you from the hug, chanted the spell, taking your soul out of your sleeping form and swung his scythe down.

He couldn't bring himself to sever your soul, he wanted to be able to spend more time with you, as a shinigami and you, a human. Yet reality is cruel, he had to fulfill his duty, and your time was up.

He swung his scythe down once again, severing your soul and casting it into heaven, hoping for your happiness in your new paradise.

Hm... so... Shakemii as a shinigami at night and an utaite in the day...hm.... could have made a better storyline...but who cares😂

Last time i created a story was my N level prelims😂😂😂😂
Which was only a few weeks ago😂
