Voice (kettaro X Reader)

"Kettan..." Were the last words you spoke before you blacked out.

"(Y/n), (y/n) !!" Kettaro, your childhood friend come running to your unconscious state as the driver exited his car and called the ambulance. In your unconscious state, you could hear only one sound, weeping, you could hear someone weeping, it was loud and clear, it sounded like Kettaro's voice. 

You awoke to find yourself in a white room, on a cold bed and some bandage like feeling on your neck.  "How are you feeling, miss (y/n)?" A feminine voice called out. "......" you tried to reply but no sound  came from your mouth "......" you tried once more, nothing, "miss (y/n) please use this." The nurse offered you a notepad and pen. You scribbled 'What happened, why can't i talk? may i please get a glass of water?' You returned the notepad to the nurse. She looked at it, then back at you with a slight sad curve formed on her lips. "Doctor will be here in a few moments to explain, in the mean time, would you like me to ask your friend to come in? He calls himself Kettaro." She asked as she poured you a glass of water.

You nodded your head as a sign of 'yes'. 

The nurse understood and headed outside to get Kettaro. 

"(Y/n), you are finally awake, i was worried sick!" He came in and huggged you gently. "(Y/n) how are you feeling?" He asked, concern evident in his voice. You took the notepad and pen then scribbled 'I'm fine, but i cant't talk" 

"(Y/n)...." Kettaro looked at your weak state, with a sad expression. The doctor came in not soon later "Miss (Y/n), how are you feeling?" he asked. You showed him the notepad, he nodded and his slight smile faded. "I'm sure you have noticed, but you lost your voice." he started, "You were caught up in an accident last week and had you voicebox badly damaged, we had to remove it in operation because the damage was too much." 

You felt hot tears falling from your eyes, as Kettaro looked at the doctor in shock. 

The doctor left the room after saying "you will need to stay here for a few more days so that we can check your condition." 

Kettaro hugged you again, "(Y/n)... I'm sorry, i'm sorry that i did not stop you from running across the road, i'm sorry for causing this" he wept as you heard him cry for the first time. 

*tap tap* You tapped his back lightly. He pulled away from the hug and look at you 'Its not your fault Kettan, its my fault for running .' you scribbled. 'so please stop crying.' 

After reading your message, Kettaro kissed your forehead, "I'm sorry (Y/n) but I want to tell you spmething" he looked into your (eye colour) eyes, "(Y/n), I have liked you for sometime now, please go out with me" 

He shut his eyes in preperation for a rejection, but soon felt warm lips touching his own, ' I love you too, Kettan' you scribbled and smiled.

"(Y/n), I have a small gift for you." He started, "I love you (Y/n), please listen to my song"

You brought your hands up you cover your mouth as you felt new tears forming in your eyes. You signaled for Kettaro to come in closer, he did as you asked and you kissed him. 'Arigato, Kettan, Aishiteru <3'
