"I've had enough. If they wanna fight then let it be done. I'm sick of it all sick of it. Sigh, if only I have the courage to take the first step then I'll be blessed with the sweet kiss of death itself, but alas, the fear still lingers." As she paced around the her room, looking through the window at the great round moon high up in the skies.

"Oh the grand moon, why do you still shine so brightly, it's as if you're mocking my solitude with your soft, warm glow." Another line came out her mouth as she simply sat down at the cushions.

She stared at the moon, the moon staring back at her with it's soft, warm glow. Slowly but surely, she drifted off into a deep slumber.

In her slumber, she saw a man, he had a soft and warm feeling. His hand outstretched in front of her as if waiting for her hand to be placed in his, so she did. From his hands, she felt the warmth she never knew she needed, she was happy in that moment, in his arms, she felt safe and secure, she felt that she could tell him everything and anything. She could tell him her fears and sadness, and he'll be there to heal her solitude.

As the morning sun came up, her vision got hazy, "no, I don't wanna leave yet, no don't leave me yet" she reached out for him, but he vanished, her eyes opened to see herself on the floor, next to her, the window where the sun's rays flowed in.

Her tearful eyes and outstretched arm only caused her heart to ache more, 'just who was he? If he showed up in my dreams, it means I've met him before right? I'm sure I've seen him before somewhere' she thought as she slowly got up from the cushions and wiped the tears off.

Going through her daily routine, she got up, washed up, went to grab some breakfast in the kitchen, only to see a note on the counter top. Picking it up, it read, "Be home by dinner time, we need to discuss something important. -dad"

'Of course father would have something to say.' She thought to herself as the previous night played back in her mind. 'The two of them are always arguing, it never got physical, but it's so annoying. Those annoying words became daggers flying to and fro, those loud screams and yells. I hate it.' She sighed.

Her phone rang and the contact displayed Shakemii, her neighbor and childhood friend,she could even call him her buddy,after all they basically grew up together,"hey classes are canceled today, Mr. Teacher said he's feeling unwell and classes are canceled but there will be a make-up class next week. So wanna hang out instead? Well you know,,  to take your mind off of... What happened last night. Sorry.. I heard everything since your folks we're causing quite a ruckus with their insults." She chuckled as he said insults.

"Yea sure, just swing by my house while I pack my bag."with that she ended the call and 5mins later she heard the doorbell in the secret code the pair shared.

She opened the door and stepped out to set him, after locking of course.

"Heyo kiddo! Let's go, I've got somewhere to bring you to today!" He smiled happily, causing you to smile as well, "alrighty then captain! Let's go!!" Being with him, she felt the weight lighted off her chest, she could laugh happily and be childish around him.

His hands felt just like the dream.

As the pair made their way to where ever he was leading, she realised that the direction was towards the aquarium. "Hey Shakemii? Where are we going exactly?" She asked, to which he simply replied, "se~cr~et" in that childish tone.

She playfully whacked him and he played along as well, not long after, they reached their destination, and before her eyes, it was the aquarium. "Tadaaaaa it's the aquarium!! I know how much you wanted to come here so,,, let's go" she could have sworn his cheeks were slightly pink, but oh Wells, the pair showed the tickets and made their way in.

Waltzing through the vast aquarium, learning about different fishes and habitats and even getting to see the dolphin show, she completely forgot about her troubles and simply enjoyed her time with him. Next to him, she felt warmth and that soft feeling, just like the man in her dreams. 'Again, that feeling, that dream,,,' shaking it off, they continued their adventure in the aquarium.

As the sun slowly went down, the two of them basically explored the entire aquarium, "let's go for dinner, I heard that the food here is amazing but no seafood though,i heard its because the management felt that it would be too traumatizing for the fishes to see their kin on plates" he joked, earning a giggle from her.

As the pair enjoyed dinner, the peaceful atmosphere around her felt so refreshing, then again, she was once again reminded of the dream, 'the warmth of his hands, his loving gaze and safe arms.'

Shakemii waved in front of her as she was spacing out, "earth to (y/n) hello hello" he said. She brushed his hand away, "yes yes earthling Shakemii" the pair chuckled and finished dinner.

Dinner ended with shakemii paying, well, you tried to split the bill, but he insisted so you compromised. It was quite late already, so he offered to send her home.

On the way back, she shared with him about the previous night's events, walking slowly and even stopping at the park, sitting on the bench, she spilled everything. Her cheerful smile wiped off, replaced with a sad, and even lonely expression, as you told him everything, your tears slowly fell, then she felt the warmth again.

The warmth of his embrace, his broad chest, his warm hands, it was just like that dream, that wamrth.

She didn't even care anymore, all you did was cry and cry, then your phone rang. She picked it up, the contact displayed [Father]. Her face paled,  as she remembered the note. "N,, no..." She felt the cold shivers up her spine, shakemii took her phone and answered the call.

"Hello, Mr(l/n), its shakemii, i'm with (y/n)  now, so do not worry, she's safe. She'll be staying over at my place tonight. If I let her go home just so you can torment her with your petty arguments with your wife,  I'll never be able to forgive myself. Good bye." He ended the call and returned her phone. She could feel that he was angry, pissed off even.

"It's alright (y/n), I'll let you stay over tonight, you don't deserve to be sad over those parents of yours, they may be your parents and even I respect them, but knowing that they made you sad, I had to tell him off. I'm sorry for scaring you" his eyes and speech softened as kneeled to her height and he held her hands in his warm ones.

"There there, you're safe now" he whispered as he held her close, she cried even more, knowing that she was not alone, the man in her dreams was none other than Shakemii.

The time will come for the pair, as long as they are together.

I know I basically MIA-ed from wattpad but hey i'm back and got even worse with writing ;;;;;

But in all honesty, i'm just really sad rn, so I thought maybe writing something can get my mind off it, well I guess it helped and now I'm sleepy it's like 1+am right now as I'm typing this lol

Once again, I'm back on wattpad and will prolly start writing more since life likes to kick me when I'm least expecting 🙃
