My Secret Place(Reader insert)

"You were my secret place
Where i would run to when i'm afraid
Confide in when i'm lost and confused"

(Y/n) could only trust one person.

"You fought my fears and wiped my tears"

The one person she trusted more then herself, more than her loved ones.

"Taught me to love and to treasure"

As she laid by his side and held his hands tight, a warm sensation was felt rolling down her cheeks.

"I felt safe when you held me in your strong arms"

The male woke up from her soft cries.

"I wished and wished with all i had"

A soft yet sad smile played on his lips as small trails of tears left his own eyes.

"Yet this cruel fate had torn us apart"

"(Y/n)... I miss you... So... So much..." His hand reached for his aching heart.

"I miss you"

He laid alone on his cold bed, your warmth used to be by his side. Now only emptiness and thoughts of you remained.

"I longed to whisper my words and feelings of gratitude and love that you've taught me"

"(Y/n).... Why must you leave us behind... How did we end up this way... We were supposed to be happy... Together with (child's name)."

"Please do not cry for me, for i am watching over you from here, with our precious angel"

"(Y/n).... " the room illuminated with a soft, warm glow. His eyes widened as your silhouette faintly appeared, along with your child. Your warm smile, tear stained cheeks and tear glossed eyes, he saw it. He could see it. Your child's eyes shone brightly at the sight of their father.

"It seems God has granted us a final wish, a final chance to meet once again"

"(Y/n).... (Child's name)...." He reached out to hold his loved ones once again. Fresh tears poured from his eyes.

"I love you, I miss you, I want to hold and kiss a lttle longer. You've done all you can, as a father, and a husband. To me, and him/her."

As the family embraced, it was as if the heavens took pity on the loving scene

"Let us live together once again, as a family."

The heavens cackled with roars of thunder and strong winds and pouring rains.

The prayers were heard.
The man never awoke again.

"God has answered our prayers. The God which saved my soul through you, has answered our prayers."

The heavens ceased the storm, although his earthly heart had beat its final beat that night, his soul was brought to the heavens.

"Thank you for being my secret place when we lived our earthly lives.
Thank you for choosing to stay by our side even when it meant to abandon your earthly being."

"Thank you, for giving me happiness, for giving us a father, for giving me a lovinf husband, and for choosing to be with us"

The skies illuminated with spectacular shimmering stars when the storm cleared.

"For being my teacher, my lover,
My secret place."

Its freaking 1+am here and i'm crying while writing this. Its a late Father's day dediction....  I'm only 1 day late.

Okok my thoughts on what happened in this story.

So like the phrase, "my secret place" kept swimming in my mind.
So in the story, the reader, you, have died along with your child. As you may have guessed, the underlined words are the reader's words/thoughts.

Her husband/partner , was still alive, and reader chan appared as a spirit as God had granted her wish to be with her husband one last time, to let him see their child as well.

Then well God was moved by the fact that he(reader's partner/husband) still misses his deceased family and still held them dearly, thus God granted their wish to be together, by ending the man's life.

Cuz you can't bring back the living and yea.... 

Ah,and as to why its a father's day dedication, is that er well....  I'm not sure how devastating losing a loved one is as i haven't experience it, i apologize if you've gone through the pain and this chapter has hurt you deeply, i'm sorry....

But because i've never experienced it, i tried to imagine what it would be like to be the one who died.... Then like... How the one who are left behind would feel and such...  So i'm really really sorry if i made anyone of you remember not happy things...

I'm literally in tears right now so i'll sleep..
