Rain stops,goodbye(Eve x Reader)

"Hmph! I. HATE. YOU."

You just had a fight with your boyfriend, Eve, just because you wanted to play in the rain but Eve says no and dosn't allow you to go outside since its raining cats and dogs.

So you did what every sane person would do,sneak out when he's napping.

You snuck out, he was taking a nap and since you were over at his place, you threw a blanket on him and tip toed out of the door with your rainboots and raincoat.

Going from the palyground, to sings to playing in puddles of water and then to the lake behind.

Seeing the raindrops on the water and listenting to the rain's song, you were having the time of your life!

Being able to play in the rain again just like your childhood days.

Those were fun days, days of joy and laughter, no one crying and no one sad, just happy smiles each day.

Then you met him, you met Eve that day, near a lake at which you got lost.

You found him singing a song oh so familiar to you.

Sakenda omoi wa kitto ame to issho ni
(My heart that I shouted, surely with the rain)

(Washed down the drain)

(Even if I put it in a beautiful song)

(The rain stops, and you start walking away from me again)

(You don't say anything, and I especially don't say anything)

You sang along, it was your favourite song.

You started singing while still in your daydream as tears flowed out of your eyes and the rain slowly clears up.

Then for what felt like a fairy tale, you felt warmth from your back and arms tightly wrapped around you, almost as if you could break at any moment.

"E-eve...." you managed to choke out.

"Sh...just stay like this for a while..." a moment of silence as you both stayed in place, with him embracing you and you on the soft grass surrounding the lake while your tears eventually stopped.

"Don't say...goodbye...(Y/n)...please... don't let the rain take you away from me...again.."

You felt fresh tears pouring out as he said that.

You remebered that day, the day was rain,the day you met,by this very lake, at which you almost drowned.

"I'm sorry Eve..."

He turned you around and embraced you once again,holding your head against his chest, hearing his quickened heartbeat and quivering voice made you guilty for running into the rain and making him worry and sad.

Quiet tears escaped your eyes as you both just stayed there, holding on as if made of fragile glass.

The rain has stopped, and goodbyes turned into hellos.
