Clear x Reader

You stepped foot into the sweets shop and was greeted with the delightful aroma of sweets.

Hurriedly, you joined the queue and thank God the queue was short, so you could buy your treat quickly. Just as you bought your sweets, you had trouble looking for seats since the whole place is literally packed!

You just walked to an occupied table and asked if you could share the table to which you were allowed.

"Thank you" you said politely to the man sitted,recieving a chuckle from him.

"No need to be so formal. Didn't catch your name,young lady, my name's Kuritani Shoukichi, call me Clear for short" he smiled.

You blushed slightly embarressed that you hadn't introduce yourself yet, "m-my name's (L/n) (Y/n), just (Y/n) is fine..."

"Nice to meet you,(Y/n)!"

As your conversation with this man went on, you completely forgot the reason why you came to get sweets in the first place.

You see, you're the kind of person who will get some sweet stuff to calm your nerves, be it because of an argument with someone or just because you were feeling down.

Yet,somehow,you've forgotten all that, right now, you could only think of how fun this conversation is.

As your chat went on,you found yourselves having alot in common and that he is a singer and you an illustrator.

Just before you could continue talking even more,your ringtone went off, it was your parents.

"Will you be home for dinner?" You could hear your mother trying to hold back sniffles as she said that.

You loved your parents dearly,never once doing anything they disapproved,but you have this little secret, only when they pissed you off or when your mood swings kick in, then you would lose all senses and instead of putting up a fight, you would take your bag, stuff your valuables in it and leave the house,through the front door, without looking back, then once your nerves settle down, you just return home to see them waiting for you.

The guilt you felt all those times really hit you hard, so you would try to make it a point to be back before dinner.

"Sorry, Clear-san, looks like i gotta go back" your voice quivered slightly,feeling the dreadful guilt already, suddenly remembering what happened that afternoon.

He noticed this but decided it was best not to question.

You both exchanged phone numbers and said goodbyes and see you next time(s).

That night, you had a nice dinner as a family,completely wiping the memory of afternoon and as if nothing happened, everyone was happy again.

When dinner was over,you spent time with your parents until lights out.

Then you recieved a message:

From: Clear
To:(Y/n)
Subject: -no subject-

How are ya, (Y/n) -chan! I didn't wanna ask just now, but.. are you ok? You seemed...upset.... I mean,you don't have to tell me anything, we just met a few hours ago afterall 😅
But, i just can't leave a sad angel, can i? (-w0)

You felt a slight blush creeping up your cheeks and replied.

From: (Y/n)
To: Clear
Subject: I'm alright..

Sorry to have worried you >< I just... its normal... i mean.. would you listen...to my little secret?

*message recieved*

From: Clear
To: (Y/n)
Subject: Of course i would.

Of course i will listen to what you have to say, like i said, i can't leave an angel crying alone.

You felt tears threatening to spill out of your sockets as you read his message.

'W-why would a complete stranger like him..be w-willing to listen when everyone else left once they found out..." You could no longer hold in the tears and let it all out silently,since your parents were asleep.

You both exchanged skype names and you called him,he heard your crying and your little secret.

"I wish i could be there to hold you close, and tell you everything's alright, but that would be weird right?" He tried to laugh it off slightly but it quickly turned serious again.

"I *sniff* you were a-actually here...*sniff*"

You both chatted somemore until you felt sleepy and hung up.

That night was one of the most peaceful nights for you, knowing that there was finally someone you could share your secret with, and will stay by your side to pull you out of the dark abyss of your own mind.
