I stretched my arms as I yawned. I then looked at the calendar on my wall. Today was one of my favorite days of the year. Christmas.
I jumped out of bed and at the top of my lungs I screamed, “Christmas morning!”
All of my girlfriend’s eyes opened slowly and they looked at me with furious looks. “Why’d you wake us up?” Jessie wondered as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
“It’s Christmas!” I cried gleefully, jumping up and down on my bed, throwing my arms in the air. “Aren’t you happy?!”
All their faces softened and smiles appeared on their faces. “Since we’re up, you think we should wake up the guys?” Harlow wiggled her eyebrows.
“Let’s,” We all replied, our words followed by a smirk.
We all tiptoed towards Drew and Mason’s room. We quietly opened their door to find only Skipper, who had gotten much larger, sleeping on Drew’s bed.
“Where are-” I started to say, but was interrupted.
A pile of pillows attacked us girls, making us all fall on the ground and scream. We looked above us and saw laughing Mason and Drew laughing insanely as they smacked us with their pillows. We couldn’t help but laugh along as we were being attacked. Every time we’d try to get up, they’d hit us again, making us fall back to the ground.
Just then, they’re door swung open and Jonah was standing there, in only his jeans that were around his waist but his fly undone, showing that he had gotten dressed quite quickly. “I heard someone scream who-” He stopped in the middle of his sentence when he saw us girls on the ground.
“Sup Jonah?!” Mason smacked McKinley in the head with a pillow. They had used the pillows so much that they wore out, making that pillow break, sending feathers everywhere. We all just stared at the big mess on the ground for a second before we started laughing hysterically.
Drew purposely ripped his pillow open, making an even bigger mess. Now we were in a pile of feathers. All three guys leaped in the hunk of white feathers and we all just rolled around, our faces getting red from laughing so hard.
Once the laughter died down, I sat up straight and looked around at my friends. Mason was on one side of me and Jessie was on the other. “Merry Christmas guys!” I said as I grabbed some of the feathers and blew them out of my hands, making them fly around a little bit.
“Merry Christmas!” They all replied in unison.
Harlow lifted herself up and wrapped her arms around her legs. “Now, I think there’s a present under that Christmas tree of ours with my name on it!”
We all got up and headed into the living room. Our fake evergreen tree was in the middle. It was truly a beautiful sight. Red and blue streamers wrapped around it. Gold and silver ornaments hung from its branches and on the top of the tree there was a huge golden star that I had the liberty of putting up.
Underneath the tree were billions of presents. We had each taken turns last night to put all of our presents for our friends underneath the tree. I had gone all out for my friends. I got them the things they’d been asking for years and I was super excited for them to open their gifts.
“Wahoo! Let’s open them!” Mason suggested.
We all ran towards the presents like five year olds and ripped open the first present we saw with our name on it. I grabbed a blue wrapped present with my name on it and tore it open. Inside was a box which I opened in lightning speed. Inside was a pink T-shirt and on the front of it on big bold letters said ‘Good Girls Are Just Good Liars’. I didn’t need a mind to know who it was from.
