After our two hour flight was over, everyone felt so relieved to finally be walking again. My bottom was sore from sitting for so long, but my head was sore the most. I had taken three pain killers for an aching headache, but they did nothing for me.

Could it have been the stress of telling Peyton about Zack that was making this happen?

I sighed as I realized that I still had to do that.

We were now all in the airport, retrieving our bags. My hand was clutched on to my black suitcase and all my friends now had their bags, besides Peyton. Hers was coming around on the machine that delivered it to you. Right as her bright pink bag was in view; both Zack and Drew’s hand grabbed the handle.

“I’ll take that,” They both said in unison.

“She’s my fiancée,” Zack told Drew, pulling the bag closer to him. “I’ll do it for her.”

“But she’s my friend,” Drew replied, tugging it towards him. “I think the friendly thing to do would be for me to take it.”

Peyton stood in the middle of them, wide-eyed and seeming a little frightened.

“It’s okay man. I got it,” Zack told him, clutching on harder.

“No, dude,” Drew retorted, mimicking Zack’s actions. “I think it’ll be okay if I take a simple bag. I won’t die.”

Zack huffed and then he loosened his grip. “Listen, Drew!” He was using a very loud voice, that made all of us back up from him a little, even his future wife. “I’m tired of you being so protective, grabby and idiotic around my fiancée!”

Drew looked at him with narrowed eyes. “Excuse me?”

“You know what I’m talking about! You’re always looking at her in that way, I’m not stupid. I know that you’re freaking in love with her! But isn’t it obvious enough that she chose me over you?” His voice was even louder. “It’s never ever going to be you that’s going to have her in your arms. She’s always going to come running to me in the end Drew. Deal with it!”

Drew stepped up closer to him and gave him a little shove. “Oh yeah?” He asked him as he looked straight in his eyes. “If it’s ‘always’ going to be you, then why did she kiss me?”

I had never seen Drew so angered and defensive in my whole life. His face was red with anger, his fists were clenched and he was standing upright to make himself look taller. He no longer had that sweet and sensitive expression on his face that the Drew Graham that I knew had.

Zack whipped around and glared at Peyton. “You what?!”

She looked up at him like a young child would. Her eyes were big and a little glossy from being filled with tears. “Z-Zack…” She mumbled.

“Geez Zack.” Drew grabbed Zack’s shoulder and made him face him again. “Don’t be blaming everything on her! We all do bad things, don’t we?”

“Yeah,” Zack replied with furrowed eyebrows. “But I think Peyton here is the one who did the worst!”

“Really?” Drew wondered, crossing his arms. “I heard that you were saying some things about me that weren’t exactly the nicest in the world. Quite hateful really.”

“Zack?” Peyton said cautiously. “Is that true?”

“Yeah, Zack,” Drew said. “Is it true?”

Zack grabbed Drew by his shoulders and shoved him hard. “Yes it’s true you idiot! I said that I wanted to get rid of you in any way I could and I meant every word that I said when I said that! I can’t stand you and I want you to get out of Peyton and my life! I don’t like the idea of you going near my future wife, so don’t try anything buddy!” He yelled.
