Chapter 29

>>Nova's POV<<

Summer left the room, and went to her room. I heard the guys come upstairs, probably to record. I decided to go downstairs and watch something Netflix. It was quiet downstairs. Odd. I shook off the feeling, and got a bottle of water. Then I walked into the living room to see something that broke my heart. Simon was making out with Ellie.

I walked away, and ran upstairs. I was half way up the stairs, until I broke out into tears. I ran back into Simon's room, and grabbed my backpack. I grabbed my phone charger, my makeup, hair brush, toothbrush, enough clothes to last a few days, and all the gifts the guys got me, except the one Ethan gave me. No thanks. I took off my engagement ring off, and left it on Simon's desk. I felt multiple people watching me, but I ignored them. I grabbed a piece of paper, and wrote:

Simon,
I'm sorry that I wasn't enough for you I hope Ellie is thou. I hope you guys can live happily together forever. I sorry that we couldn't be something. I thought we would, but I guess not. I love you, but you love Ellie, and I don't want to be in the way. So, goodbye. I will come back, and get the rest of my stuff once I get settled somewhere. Goodbye Simon.

I turned around to see all the guys, besides Simon, watching me. "Goodbye." I said sniffling. "Please don't leave" JJ said. "Yea, don't leave" the guys said. "No, I have to. I'm not wanted around here." I said "What!" Josh said. "But Simon loves you, and so does the rest of us!" Vikk said. "No. Simon doesn't love me. He made it obvious a few minutes ago." I said, starting to cry. "WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO!" JJ yelled. "I walked up to the guys, and they hugged me. "Goodbye" I said. "But what did he do?" Vikk asked. I ignored him, and walked out the front door. I put my earbuds in, and the song Me and My Broken Heart by Rixton started playing. (MEDIA)

I heard someone run upstairs. I just figured it was Simon, until I heard crying. I walked out of my room, and I guess the other guys heard it too. Simon's door was open. There I saw Nova crying, and quickly stuffing clothing and stuff into her backpack.
I didn't understand what was happening, then I figured it was something Simon did. I ran downstairs, and quietly walked towards the living room to see Simon, and Ellie making out.
"What the fuck is going on!" I yelled. Simon jumped, and looked at me with a guilty look on his face. "You are such an idiot! You have an amazing fiancee upstairs crying her eyes out, and packing her stuff! She figures that you love that slut you were making out with over there! And now Nova is leaving! I was thinking about asking mom and dad about extending my trip so I could spend more time with Nova, but now the is no-" I yelled, until someone ran right past me. I realized it was Nova.
I stormed out of the living room, and almost ran into the guys. "Why is Nova leaving?" Josh asked. "My asshole of a brother fucked up. Nova must have somehow caught him and Ellie fucking making out, and now she is fucking gone!" I screamed, and started crying.
JJ ran to the living room, and I heard arguing, then a loud thud. I ran into the living room to see Simon laying on the floor holding his eye. "What did you do?" I asked JJ. "I- uh. I kinda punched Simon in the eye." JJ said looking at the floor. "He doesn't des- You know what. That serves him right. Maybe he will learn to not cheat on people." I said.
"W-what? Why aren't you standing up for me?" Simon asked. "Because you hurt my best friend, and you needed to learn a lesson." I said. "I understand." Simon said, after sighing. "Ellie, you have to go" Simon said, after standing up. "W-why? I thought you loved me, not that little charity case of a fiancée" Ellie said. "Excuse me!" I yelled. "You heard me you little bitch" Ellie yelled. I walked over to her, and slapped her across the face, and said "You can't speak to me like that". "Who's stopping me?" She asked with a smirk on her face. "I am" Simon said
Suddenly that smirk on her face disappered. "You can't do that to your girlfriend!" She shrieked. "Um, first off yes I can, and second off you aren't my girlfriend." Simon said. Then Simon grabbed her wrist, and started to drag her to the front door. "Bye bitch!" I yelled to her, and started giggling.
"This isn't the end of me!" Ellie yelled. "I think it is" I yelled back. Then I walked upstairs to my room. Simon's room door was still open, and I noticed a note on Simon's desk. I ran back doenstairs. "Simon!" I yelled. "What?" He asked. "Go look at your desk upstairs." I said. "What? Why?" He asked. "Just go" I said.
