“So you’re telling me, you flew all the way out here just because you missed me?” I asked as I handed Harry his cup of tea.

“Yup.” He smiled.

“You’re insane. It’s been four days.” I laughed then sat next to him.

I looked out to the ocean. It was a gorgeous night.

“Four days too long, Dyl.” He laughed.

“You’re simply the best.” I said then kissed him on the cheek.

“I know, I try.” He said cockily, but he was joking.

I poked him in the side.

“How’s it back home?” I asked.

“I love how you call it home,” he said. I blushed. “But it’s…it’s okay.”

“Just okay?” I asked.

“Yup, just okay.” His expression changed to a more solemn one.

“Alrighty then…” I said.

“So how’s work been? Meet any new friends?” he raised an eyebrow then smirked.

“Yes, indeed. Why didn’t you tell me you knew Kelly?!” I asked hitting his arm lightly.

“Because I figured you needed some sort of surprise. She’s sweet, isn’t she?” Harry asked.

“Very, she’s dating Luke…it’s so strange..” I chuckled.

“Luke as in ex-boyfriend Luke?” Harry raised an eyebrow.

“Yes, Luke as in ex-boyfriend Luke. His daughters name is Dylan as well…”

“Named after you?” Harry furrowed his eyebrows.

“Named after me.” I stated.

“Strange…” Harry looked out to the ocean.

He was being rather odd…

“What’s up with you?” I asked.

“Nothing, why?” he looked over to me and smiled.

He was so cute.

“You’re being weird.” I said squinting my eyes.

“You’re being weird.” He mocked me.

“Stop that.” I said.

“Stop that.” He copied me.

“Harry! Stop!” I exclaimed.

“Harry! Stop!” he said in a girly voice.

I crossed my arms and turned away from him.

“Dylaannnn,” he said.

I still stayed turned away from him.

“Dylaannnnn,” he said again.

I soon felt strong arms wrapped around me from behind.

“Turn around.” He whispered.

I finally gave in and turned around to face him.

He just stared at me for a few minutes.

“I love you,” he whispered.

“I know.” I whispered back.

“No, I actually mean that I love you, Dylan. I’m in love with you.” he said.

I felt butterflies rush to my stomach.

I stayed silent.

Harry, my best friend, the guy who I had been in love with all this time, was in love with me?

“I-I,” I tried to get out.

Harry’s face filled with sorrow.

He started to slowly back away from me.

I couldn’t let him think that I didn’t love him.

So I did the one thing that I had been waiting to do for forever.

I leaned in and kissed him.

“So what are we gonna do when you leave?” I asked Harry the next morning.

“Come with me.” He said.

“Harry, I’ve been here for five days. I can’t,” I laughed.

“Please. Come with me.” He said and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I wrapped mine around his neck. “Harry, I can’t. I love it here. I can’t just get up and leave.” I said.

“But I love you. So I could change your mind.” He smirked.

“As much as I love you too, you can’t change my mind. I’m okay here. This is where I belong.” I leaned in and pecked his lips.

“You belong with me…” he whispered and leaned his forehead against mine.

“Five words and I’m yours, baby.” I laughed

“Will you please marry me?” he whispered.

And those were not the five words I was expecting to come out of his mouth.
