I woke up the next morning confused to where I was.

The room was darker, with sunlight peeking through the sides of the curtains.

I felt strong arms wrapped around my waist and that’s when I remember where I was.

Niall’s.

I turned my body around and came to face a sleeping Niall, looking so peaceful.

He was so cute. I studied his features, all from his eyes, to his nose, to his jawline, and to his lips.

His lips that had been locked with mine at midnight last night.

My face was literally inches away from his and I felt safe and secure in his arms.

After a while, I tried to get out of his grip but every time I moved, he wrapped his arms even tighter around me.

I poked at his cheeks a little until he groaned.

“Niall,” I whispered. “Niall, wake up.”

He groaned again and his eyes fluttered open.

His face lit up in an instant when he saw me.

He smiled.

“Morning.” He said.

“Good morning.” I smiled.

It was kind of awkward, I’m not gonna lie.

I didn’t even know if he remembered that he had kissed me last night.

“Did I by any chance kiss you last night? I think I did, but I can’t really remember…” he laughed.

Should I lie? I could lie. Say it never happened. Then things would be less awkward. I couldn’t lie to him, though. He’s Niall. Who could lie to him?

“Uh, yeah. You did. But it’s okay. You were drunk and had no idea what you were doing.” I laughed, still inches away from his face.

“Riiiighhttt….” He nodded and raised his eyebrows.

What was that supposed to mean?

“Can you maybe let go of me so I can go and check to see if Harry’s home?” I laughed awkwardly.

“Oh, yeah sorry,” he laughed and loosened his grip on me.

“Thanks.” I smiled and walked out of his room.

I made my way out to the hallway to be greeted by a familiar face.

“Fun night last night?” Louis winked then eyed my attire up and down.

I raised an eyebrow then looked down at my clothes.

Niall’s tank top and a pair of his boxers.

And I guess it kind of looked shady because I was also leaving his flat.

“Uh…Um…It’s-it’s not what it looks like-” I started.

“It’s okay, I won’t tell anyone.” Louis winked.

“Why are you here anyways?” I asked.

“Harry asked me to come over. Said he had a major headache, asked for some Advil,” Louis said holding up the bag he had in his hand. “Said he wanted to talk to me about something. I don’t know.” He shrugged his shoulders and made his way towards Harry’s flat.

“Look, I know you’re his best friend, but can I give him the Advil instead? You can talk to him later? I really need to talk to him.” I said catching up with Louis.
