Chapter 17 - Flower

(Thursday)
The sun bright up that cold winter day. Ino woke up early and went to her living room to see if the flowers finally finish growing. It's been almost two weeks since she last plant them an they we're just right to cut down. She took the rare flowers and started to cut the stems into a pile. After she was done, she got herself ready for the day. Since she had no school, she decided to finally take the day to herself an go shopping with her closest friends Sakura and Hinata. After an hour, her brother woke up.

"Morning Deidara, how did you sleep?" She said as he closed his door. Deidara yawned and scratched his stomach. "Alright." He walked passed her. "I'm leaving. There's food on the table and a spare keys on the front. Mom and dad won't be home till later. Oh! And I cut the flowers down, they're Laying on the table as well. I hope your girlfriend likes them". Ino smiled. Deidara played along. "Yea I hope she does. Thanks for planting them". He smirked evilly without her looking. "It was nothing. Well see ya!" She put on her shoes and walked out.

Deidara walked to the kitchen and saw the flowers. He took out his cell phone ad called kabuto. "Yo, your flowers are planted". "Good, meet me at the park around 12pm today". "Yea." Deidara hung the phone and hear the doorbell rang. Deidara thought it was Ino. When he open the door, it was Sakura. She wore a cute hello kitty ear muffs an a white winter jacket. Deidara was shocked to see her. He was a bit scared that she might have known who he was. "Yes?" Deidara asked nervously. "Um, is Ino home? We were suppose to go shopping". Sakura asked not knowing who he was. "Oh, she left minutes ago". Sakura had a disappointed face expression on. "If you want, I can take you there. I'm leaving soon anyways". Deidara said. "No it's ok, thank you". She said a bit nervous. "Alright. Hope you get there safe". "Thank you". Deidara closed the door. He was surprised to have seen her. He didn't know that Ino and her were friends.
He smirked. "This should be good". Later that day

Deidara met kabuto at the park with the flowers. "Here you go". Deidara gave him the flowers. "Alright. Next we get them to drink it". Kabuto put the flowers into a black plastic bag. "Yea that be the hard part. Did you know that Sakura girl is friends with my sister?" Deidara said looking through his cellphone. "Yea". Kabuto walked away smiling.

Sakura finally met up with Ino and Hinata. Ino and Sakura were shocked to see Hinata's baby bump. They were fill with so much happiness they couldn't resist touching it. The girls needed a day off from all the trouble, especially Sakura. Though Sasuke and her have been broken up for the past month, she couldn't stop thinking about him. The love she had for him was still strong. Ino noticed Sakura looking at the couple that passed was about to pass by them. Ino also couldn't forget Shikamaru. She tried to explain many times during the few weeks that past, but nothing. It was hard for her. The one she loved so much, didn't trust her. It broke her hard. Though it pained her so much, she smiled so the girls didn't notice.

They first shopped for baby clothes and stuff for Hinata's baby, than shopped for clothes. Like always, Ino couldn't hold herself and started buying many outfit. She brought five shirts, six jeans and two boots. She brought smaller things like scarfs, mittens and other things. She still couldn't get him off her mind. She just wanted one more chance to talk to him, to explain what really happen. As they walked, they saw Shikamaru coming out from HotTopics with a few bags. The two looked at each other shocked and sad. They wanted to hold, kiss and talk to each other like they use to. They missed each other so much that they became speechless. "Say Hinata, lets look at these sweaters, I think it look great on you" Sakura took Hinata inside the store for them to speak. "H-hi Shikamaru..." Ino began. "Hey..." Shikamaru looked at her. "How you been?". "I've been... Alright". Ino wanted to cry but she held it back. "It's good seeing you". She began to walk past him. She couldn't be near him. All she wanted to do was cry, and be alone. Shikamaru quickly grabbed her arm before she left. He had a sad face to, but kept his cool. "I'll, call you tonight". Ino was shocked. She smiled and nodded. "Okay".
