Chapter 24 - Our Child/ Your Friend

Neji, Hinata and Naruto P.O.V.
[Rock-Lee rushing to meet Neji and TenTen at the movie theater downtown.]

"If I do not hurry up, Neji will kill me! And so will Tenten". *Image Tenten with a bat with evil eyes* "Oooh how I need to hurry!" As Rock-Lee hurried up, he noticed Karin with some boys in a dark ale. He hide behind the wall to over hear. He noticed the guys. It was Deidara, Hidan and Sasori. "Listen, I want you guys to jump on Sasuke again". Karin crossed her arm and lifted her glasses up as they were falling. "Awwww, did that pink hair bitch taking your man?" Hidan pin her against the wall and lifted her chin up. "Heh, you can say that". "I heard she's in the hospital, from that coma". Sasori lean against the wall with his arms crossed. "Yea, that's the thing. He's been visiting her lately". "Hmmm I see now. You want us to do your dirty job again". Hidan pressed his thumb against her lips. "Yea..." Karin looked at Deidara. Deidara looked back at her. "Count me out. I'm done helping you". The guys looked at Deidara. "Learn how to do your own shit Karin, I already told you". Deidara walked away. "Forget him. Well do it". Karin smiled. "Good. And if Naruto or anyone of them get in the way, get them too". Rock-Lee snagged a quick photo and rushed out of the scene.

[Neji and Tenten waited for Rock-Lee]

"So have you kept in contact with Hinata?" Tenten asked curiously. "No. She off with her own life. Who am I to interfere". "But Neji, she's your-" "Neji!!!" Rock-Lee shouted. He reached them and started breathing heavy. "What's wrong Rock-Lee?" "It's... Sasuke... He's in trouble!" Neji was shocked. "What you mean?" "I over heard Karin talk to some guys... Looks like they're going to jump Sasuke. And if Naruto interferes, they're coming for him too". The first thing that came to mind was Hinata and her baby. "Neji. I'm worry for Hinata". Tenten said. "Yea..."

[Later on that day in Naruto and Hinata's room]

"I can't wait till you come out". Naruto started talking to Hinata stomach. "What names have you thought of so far". Naruto sat down and smiled. "If it's a boy, Yamato. If its a girl, Himiko " Hinata smiled big. "Those are great names". As they continued to talk about other baby names, Kushina knocked on the door an entered. "Naruto, Hinata, someone is here to see you". Hinata and Naruto looked at each other. As they walked down they noticed Neji in the living room. As Hinata walkin in first, Neji eyes widen a bit, surprise to see Hinata stomach already big. "Neji, what are you doing here?" Hinata sat down on the couch. Naruto walked in looking at him seriously as he sat next to her. "I came here to tell Naruto something important". Naruto looked at him confused. "What is it?" Neji looked at him. "Sasuke. He's in trouble". "W-What?! How?". "When lee was going to meet us at the theater, he noticed Karin talking to some guys. Karin was playing on jumping Sasuke for secretly visiting Sakura".

A glass fell down and broke. Everyone turn around and saw Kushina at the door shocked. "W-what?" "Mom!" "What are you talking about?" Neji looked at them lost. "I don't know either". Naruto stood quiet. Kushina looked at Naruto looking down. "Naruto! Explain". Naruto sigh. "Karin send people to jump Sasuke and Sakura. Looks like Karin got a hold of some drugs as have them to Inos brother and Ino's brother gave it to Sakura. Now Sakura is in the hospital since a month ago from a coma. And Sakura lost her memories". Neji eyes widen. Hinata looks down sad. Kushina grabbed the phone but Naruto stop her in time. "Mom there's no point on calling Nagato. He already knows. Itachi and the police are on the case with out her knowing. We can't let her know". Kushina started crying. "Poor Sakura... How did something so small lead to this".

"Thank you, Neji for coming to tell us". Hinata said with a sad face. Neji stood up. "One last thing. Naruto. Looks like if you get in the way, you might as well get beaten up". Hinata eyes open up shocked. She looks at Naruto speechless. Naruto looked at Neji. "No! You will not fight!" Kushina shouted. "HE'S MY FRIEND MOM! I can't just sit here while he's getting beat up!" "You have a child! If you pass away, are you going to leave your wife alone with your child?" Kushina yelled back. Naruto stood speechless. Neji look at Hinata. "Hinata! Say it already. That stupid face expression is irritating me. I thought by now you have courage to speak your mind". Neji said in anger. "I-I don't want you to fight Naruto..." Hinata started to cry. Naruto didn't listen to her. "Neji grabbed Naruto and pulled his shirt. "If you fight, who's to say she won't send them to hurt your child!" Naruto looked at Hinata holding her stomach while crying. Neji released him and saw how he started to tear. Kushina rushed to Hinata as Hinata couldn't stop crying. "Naruto. As much as I hate you... I know how you feel. I wouldn't want anything to happen to Lee if I was in your shoes. So, if you do fight. Count me in. I will protect Hinata with my life".
