Chapter 117 - Let Me Help

(Later that day/ Sai Apartment)
Ino rang his doorbell as she waited patiently for him to open. Sai open the door with only his pajama pants on and no shirt. His hair was messy and his eyes were half way open. "Sai!" Ino covered her face trying to hide her blush. Before she could see, Sai quickly pulled her in and held her close against the closed door. He buried his face on her shoulder and stood quiet as she began to worry. The A.C. was blasting cold air in the apartment. The house was dark from the shades all the way down blocking the sunset from coming in. His art was all over the place and the rest of the house was a mess as well. Ino could feel his body warm as he caught a fever from the cold air turn high. "Sai! It's really cold here! And you're burning up! Come! Let's bring you to bed". Without any word, Sai followed her to his room. He sat down on his bed as Ino went to his closet and tried to find a shirt and a sweater. "Geez Sai! You can't just get yourself sick!" Ino helped him put on his shirt and then his sweater.

While she help him, she noticed his gloomy serious face. She got even more worry. "Sai. What's wrong?" Ino knee on the floor in front of him. Sai looked at her without a word. Ino's heart sank as his cold glare stroke her heart. "Sai?" Sai shook out of it and remembered that Ino was there. "Hehe, Sorry hun. I'm just spaced out". Sai put on a fake smile. "Yea did you also realized that you have a fever too?" Ino got up and lightly plucked his forehead. "I do?" Sai touched his forehead. "Yea. Let me make you some tea". Ino went to his kitchen and noticed the dishes hasn't been cleaned yet. She searched around the kitchen and finally found a tea pot. After setting it, she noticed a letter near his refrigerator that had red bold words. "Final Notice". It was a note saying that Sai must leave the apartment by the end of the week as he didn't pay the rent in 2 month. Ino covered her mouth as she began worried about where he would stay. She quickly turn around and bumped into Sai as he was behind her all along.

"S-Sai? Um... I'm Sorry for.. Um..." Ino hide the letter behind her. Sai extended his hand so she could pass it to him, and she did. "Sai, what's going on? What's with this letter saying you have to move out?" Ino looked at him. "It's nothing really". Sai scratched his head. "What you mean it's nothing! It is something! You're getting kicked out!" Ino shouted.  "Ino, Enough!" Sai shouted back. Ino looked at him angrily. "Fine. Be macho man! You think you can stay to yourself and "solve everything"? Than fine! Go ahead! I was nice enough to come because I was worried and I wanted to talk to you because I missed you, but if you're going to be quiet and not tell me anything than whatever! Solve everything! Let see what will happen at the end of this week". Ino put on her purse and slam the door behind her.
