Chapter 141 - Dearest Friend

"I'm so happy for you!" Karin said as she shed a tear at the news that Sasuke and Sakura were having a child together. "Thank you, Karin" Sakura smiled. "How do you think she or he'll look more like?" Karin asked. Sakura thought to herself and smile. "Like their mother". Sasuke placed his hand on her shoulder. Sakura looked up and smiled at him. Karin's heart sank as she thought of her lost child. "Karin?" Sakura called out her name as Karin shed a tear without realizing it. "Oh sorry, I was just daydreaming is all". She wiped away her tear. "Karin, don't give up" Sakura placed her hand on top of her hand. "Better place than here huh". Karin smiled. "Suigetsu thinks the baby was going to be a boy; and so did I". Sakura looked at looked at her with sadness.

"To be honest, I think your baby will be a girl, that has Sakura's big forehead" Karin chuckled. "Hey!" Sakura covered her forehead. "But, with black hair and eyes, like Sasuke". Karin smiled and looked at Sakura as Sasuke held her hand and also smiled. "Yea, I can picture that". Sasuke said. "CAN YOU READ THE FUTURE" Sakura squeezed her hand. "Hehe, no, just have a feeling". The two girl giggled. "Well, I must go, Suigetsu is leaving work in a few and we're going out for lunch". Karin stood up and took her purse. "OH! There's something I wanted to give you something, Hold on!" Sakura left to get the item as Sasuke walked her to the door.

"Hey Karin". Karin looked back as he placed his head on her head. "I'm sorry, for your lost. I understand now, that if i lost my child, I would be crush as well. Having this baby, was means so much to me, and I wouldn't know what I'd do with myself if i lost..." "Sasuke, you've grown so much. You were always a careless person when it comes to anything and everything. It was always your way and that it. But, I can see that Sakura has changed you. For a moment, I thought you'd never care, but the way you care for her and love her; it's so beautiful. I'm sorry for almost sabotaging your relationship before. And maybe my baby wasn't meant to come to this world at that time in our lives. But now that everything's over, we can all live in peace. Please, take care of Sakura, this baby coming was a blessing you both deserve". Karin smiled at him.

"Karin, here you go". Sakura handed her a photo frame of the whole gang, including her in the photo. It was a photo they all took at Hinata's wedding. "Don't ever think your not apart of the gang because of what happen in the past. You will always be one of us". Sakura smiled at her, making Karin tear and hug her. "Thank you"
