Chapter 118 - Shattered

(The end of the week)
Ino looked at her calendar while she continue to lay on her bed. She was still upset at Sai and yet at herself. She knew that she did wrong and didn't know what right words to say. She looked at her cellphone and fought to weather to text him or leave him alone. She finally got up and dressed up. She swallowed her pride and decided to go to Sai's apartment and convince him to stay with her. "Hey, where you going?" Sakura asked as she came out of her room. "Im.. going to see Sai.." Ino put on her shoes and noticed Sasuke's shoes in the corner and thought of an idea. "Hey. What do you think of us getting a bigger apartment for the four of us?" Ino asked Sakura. "The four of us? You're including Sai and Sasuke?" Sakura lean against the wall. "Yea. With Sai getting kicked out, I don't want him far away fro me..." Ino looked down. "Well, that's something we all need to talk about. If they want too. But.. to be honest. Sasuke and I are already talking about moving together into his apartment". Ino looked at Sakura with sadness. "Oh... well, let me know". Ino left the apartment.

Ino rushed to Sai's apartment as she wanted to catch him on time to ask him to move in. Gray clouds quickly appeared and began raining. "Great! That's all I need!" Ino slipped on a wet plastic bag on the raining floor and scraped her knee. "Shit!!!" Ino got up and ignored her scraped knee. While she continue to run, a small truck drove by her without her noticing who was in it. She finally got to his apartment and knocked on the door for him to open it. Her hard knocks lightly open the door and quickly, she open to the see an empty apartment. Ino ran in to see if he was anywhere in the apartment, but there was no one. She began crying as she couldn't catch up to him on time. "Nnnooo... Sai...." She stood in the middle of the room crying.
