Chapter 43 - My Choice

(Next Day)

"Ugh! Can you believe Sakura got into trouble" Ino crossed her arms as she sat next to TenTen and Neji while Tenten held Hinata and Naruto's baby. "What happen?" Tenten asked as she made funny faces. "Well. Mebuki took Sakura privilege of hanging out because she was out with Itachi all night, so I covered for her. Thanks goodness mom isn't as mean as Aunt Mebuki". Everyone slowly looked at Ino. "Sakura's your cousin?!" Tenten asked. "Oh! No, not blood. Our mothers were adopted sisters. They're not real sister but raised together. But anyways. I think it's messed up of Aunt to do that. Sasuke is a total d*** an his brother is way nicer. He actually takes her out and talks to her. Unlike that jealous ass". Ino check her phone. "You do have a point. Sasuke always has a mean side and they always fight". Hinata pass the baby bottle to Neji as he feed Boruto. "Maybe this is a good thing. Maybe Sakura needs someone who is willing to put her first. I mean, I know Sasuke tried to save Sakura when everything happen. But. I don't know... I just have a bad feeling about him lately". Tenten said. "Yea your right". Naruto walked in with a bottle's of water for everyone. "He hasn't answered me for a while". "Naruto, what do you think about her dating Itachi?" Ino asked. "Well. I don't think it's really up to us to judge what she does. It's her choice. Though, I've know Sasuke since baby; he does have a dark side. Itachi is way more caring and more of a gentleman than Sasuke will ever be. Let Sakura think things through about her decision and stay by her side". Ino was worried for Sakura.

(Itachi P.O.V.)

It was the afternoon and Itachi walked around the woods as there was a crime that accrued last night. A young girl was beaten almost to death as she walked home late at night from a party. The victim describe the guys to be a tall skinny man with a pale completion, gray hair and glasses. Itachi looked around and found no clues. As he head back he noticed his father waiting for him. They gave each other the look.

(Ride back to work)

"You know, I notice the red spring coat hanging on the coat racket yesterday. Was it Sakuras?" Itachi stood quiet. "Well, your in luck. I need you to protect her and watch her from a distance. Kabuto could be back". Itachi also thought the same. As he arrived back at the Office, he open his locker as he was going to change out of his uniform. He noticed the photo of Sasuke on his locker door and felt a bit sad for his brother. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but deep down he had fallen for Sakura for a while, and wanted to be with her. "I'm sorry, little brother".

(Sakura's P.O.V.)

"Sakura! Haven't we told you not be so involve in that man before. He is seven years older than you!" That's rape!" Kizashi had a high tone. "So?! Your five years older than mom!" Kizashi and Mebuki looked t each other not having a come back. "That was back than. We don't want you with him". "Why because he's Sasuke's brother? It's not my fault Sasuke doesn't want me and his brother does! Beside, what he even do to you? He works and support himself and finished College. What else you want". Sakura shouted back. Kizashi saw the anger in her eyes. He knew she was right. Itachi had everything in life and he could support himself. "Fine. Your old enough. Make all the decision you want. Your an adult". Kizashi said while walking away. Sakura, still angry, rushed to her room and change her outfit an pack her bag as she was going to sleep over Ino's place. She went to the front door putting on her shoes. "Sakura where are you going? It's late to be leaving and you are grounded!" Mebuki try to make Sakura stay as she was worried something would happen. "Get off my back! I'm going to Ino's place!" "You are not going any where its a school night!" Mebuki placed her hands on her hip. "Leave me alone! It's my decision!!!" Sakura ran out.
