Chapter 146 - The Future, Our Future

As the day became night, and night turn into day, the apartment was quiet. Sasuke stood in his corner as Sakura tried to give him as much space as she could. Yesterday was a horrifying day for the both of them and not one said a word. As hour fly by, Sakura finished preparing dinner and as She made a plate for him and placed it on his side of the table, She made herself one as well and waited for Sasuke to come eat with her as she called out his name two times and at the end, she ate alone.

Sakura put on her clothes as she was getting ready for work. She looked at her stomach as her baby bump was growing bigger. She couldn't believe it was three months into her pregnancy and in a few days she would know the gender of the baby. As she walked out of the bathroom from her master bedroom, she noticed Sasuke was up and already dressed for work. She knew it wasn't the right time, but she still wanted to show him the love that he needed. As she zip up his vest, Sakura gently held his hand and looked up at him as he looked down at her. "Good Morning" she smiled. "Morning" Sasuke touched her baby bump and smiled. "When is the appointment?" "In three days. Will you be able to make it?" Sakura said as she placed her hand on top of his. "I promise" he gently held her chin and kissed her passionately.

"I'm sorry you had to see me that way" Sasuke said as he kept rubbing her stomach. "No need to apologize. Everything has come to an end and we can finally be happy" she smiled. Sasuke saw how strong she was through all of the year they've been in. From when they started dating, to Kabuto and now, finally putting the mastermind, Fugaku in jail, they would finally be in peace. "I'm sorry for my father's actions..." He looked down ashamed. Sakura lift his face up. "It's ok, It wasn't your fault. Your not to blame on any of this. Let's focus on the future; our future and our family" Sakura looked down and smiled while rubbing her stomach. "Yea". Sasuke smiled and held her close. He noticed that Sakura hair was growing as it was past her neck and reaching her shoulders. "Your hair is growing. Are you going to cut it?" Sasuke smelled her hair making Sakura blush. "No, i think i'll let it grow"
