Chapter 57 - What I've Done

[Ring Ring!]

Shikamaru's cellphone rings. It was a call from Sasuke. He felt nervous picking up the call. "Hello?" He answered. "Get your fucking ass to Sakura's house". Sasuke hung up. Shikamaru looked at his phone confused. He put on his shoes and ran while holding his cellphone tightly. As he finally arrived 20 minutes later,he rang The door bell. Naruto open the door and dragged him in. "Yo, what's going on-" Naruto forcefully pushed Shikamaru against the wall and grabbed his shirt. "You fucking punk! How could you?!" Naruto looked at him angrily. "What are you talking about?!" Shikamaru pushed Naruto's arm off. "Don't act dumb! You know exactly what you've done!" Naruto punched Shikamaru, tilting his face to the side. Sasuke looked at Shikamaru emotionless as he knew exactly what happen. "Naruto! What did I do?!" Shikamaru pushed Naruto back. "Naruto. Calm down". Sasuke pushed Naruto back. "Shikamaru. Go check Ino". Sasuke took Naruto to the living room to cool off. Shikamaru looked at Sasuke worried as he felt something was wrong.

As He reached upstairs, he open the door and noticed Sakura and Hinata blocking Ino. "What are you doing here?" Sakura asked evilly. "I don't know... Sasuke called and... What happen to Ino?!" Shikamaru shouted. "It's ok you guys. You guys can leave". The girls left the room. Ino got up from the bed and spread the curtains wide. She turn around and faced him. Shikamaru looked at her shocked. She walked to him and stood in front of him. He looked down at her as couldn't stop looking at her bruised eye. He step back as she step forward. Without noticing it coming, Ino slapped him on the face. Shikamaru face tilt as he stood still from the slap. She kept slapping him over and over as she cried loudly. "How could you do this to me!!! Look at what you've done to me!!!" She began crying hard. "You fuck Temari and now your doing drugs?! Oh wait, this isn't your first time is it! AM I RIGHT?!" Shikamaru looked down at her coldly. "That's right. When you went to your bands gig. Even back in high school!" She shouted. Shikamaru reached and touched her bruised eye. She removed her shirt and showed all the bruises, not caring if she was in her bra. "Look at what she did!" Shikamaru eyes open wide. He finally realized why Temari was also bruised up.

"Look at this!!!" She turn around and showed him a bigger bruise on her back. "You fucking threw me out your fucking house! And not only that! I can't fucking hear in my right ear!" She pointed to her ear. "Ino I'm sorry!!! I don't remember anything!!!" Shikamaru started tearing. "Believe me!!! I would never do this!!!" Shikamaru grab her and pulled her close. She pushed him back and began to cry. "I don't believe you! You have a drug problem... I can't stand here waiting for you with open arms whenever you want to come back. I cant continue letting you abuse my kindness every time". Ino started crying hard. "No Ino! I'll change! Please! Believe me! I didn't mean for this to happen!" He held her close to him. "Don't leave me Ino... Please..." They both cried together. "I can't be with you anymore". Ino whispered. Shikamaru lowed his arms around her. He looked at her bruised eyes once again and gently kissed it. "I'm sorry Ino. An angel like you shouldn't be treated badly". He brushed her bangs behind her ear and gave her a soft smiled. He walked out of her room and slowly walked down the stairs. He noticed Sakura and Sasuke standing against the door way.

"Listen. I'm sorry for what I did. I have no recall of anything that happened. And I will win her back". Shikamaru looked at Sakura sadly. "I know you have a drinking problem and now a drug problem. Every time your around that girl, you get this way. What you had with Temari is over. She used you and abandon you before and now look at what she did. You can't let her in your life anymore if you want to be with Ino". Sasuke looked at him seriously. Sakura passed him some papers. They were rehab facilities that were close by for him to attend too. "Here I thought this could help you". Sakura handed him the papers. "I hope things will go back to normal again soon". Sakura pass him the papers and gave him a hug. "Thank you". Shikamaru said.
