Chapter 41 - If it wasn't for you

'I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm going on a date with Itachi. Well, it just to see a movie I'm desperately want to see since no one wants to go with me. And funny as it may seem, Itachi was available'.

She wear a red blouse with a light peach skirt and long black boots. The red car outside parked and hunk. It was Itachi letting Sakura know he was there. Sakura grab her thin brown jacket and side purse and rushed outside. She quickly rushed into Itachi car and got in without her mother noticing. Though, Mebuki looked outside the living room window and saw Sakura leave. "That was so close!" Sakura catch her breath as Itachi drove. "You think they noticed?" Itachi asked chuckling. "Na, they were probably in their room". Sakura check her cellphone and answered back to Ino's text. "Alright". Itachi open the window as the nice spring breeze blew their hair. "Can you believe Ino got jealous that were going to the movies. She thinks your family wouldn't date any girl who didn't have black hair or looked beautiful". Sakura looked outside. Itachi laugh a bit. "Well, I do have a single friend that might be interested in dating". "Trust me, Ino is a bit hard to deal with. She's Ms. Queen B". Sakura smiled.
"I think he can deal with girls like that. He did date a woman like that before". "Oh okay, than I guess we'll set up a date than". "Alright".

Sakura couldn't help but gaze at him from the corner of her eyes. His long black bangs tied up with a hair clip. His smile, his black eyes and long hair. He reminded her so much of Sasuke. She look outside her window a bit sad at the fact that they were no longer together. Itachi quickly looked at her and noticed her sad face. "What's wrong?" Itachi stop at the red light. "Oh, it's nothing really". "Is it because of Sasuke?" Sakura looked at Itachi shocked. She looked away quiet without nothing to say. "It's ok. I know you guys been through a lot. And I guess I'm not the right one to interfere". Itachi kept driving. "N-no. I mean... There's nothing to do but move on. It is what it is..." Sakura looked outside her window. Itachi got on the TE (Tokyo Express highway) and drove a bit faster. "Play some music. My iPod is connected to the radio". Sakura looked at his iPod and realized it was an iPod 5th generation. She looked at it and saw it was 68 GB. "Ugh! Lucky! How much you pay?" Sakura looked for songs. "It was on Cyber Monday for $168". "Wow that's a really good deal". Sakura started playing the song "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thick. She began to dance on her seat and started singing the song.

Itachi smiled and sang with her. After 40 minutes they arrived to the theater. The movie they saw was The Amazing Spider-Man. After two hours, it got closer to the end When Gwen fell down after The Green Goblin dropped her, Sakura's mouth open. And when the most depressing scene happen a tear went down her cheeks. Even though Itachi was a bit sad also, he couldn't resist smiling at Sakura's reaction. Suddenly, Itachi received a text from Shisui asking to come for band practice. Itachi whispered. "Do you want to see what I do on my spare time?" Sakura's heart raced as she blushed. "Y-yes". After the movie ended, Itachi drove with Sakura to his practice. As they arrived, Shisui was setting up his base guitar. "Hey" Itachi opened the door for Sakura as she entered. Shisui noticed her and looked at Itachi. "Hitting on younger girls huh" Shisui laughed. Both Itachi and Sakura looked at each other and blushed. "I'm Sakura Haruno" Sakura said nervously. "Heh, Shisui Uchiha". Sakura looked at Itachi confused. "Older cousin". Itachi open the extra guitar that was set on the corner.

"Oh I forgot to tell you, Yahiko and Kanon won't be able to join tonight. Though Obito and Rin are coming". "Obito?" "Another cousin". Itachi said, and speaking of them, they arrived. "Hello!" A tall man with short black hair came in. His left face was fractured. A girl with long brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. She noticed me and smiled. "Hello there! I'm Rin Nohara. It's nice to meet you". "It's nice to meet you too". Sakura smiled. Everyone was in position. Itachi in guitar, Obito on drums, Shisui on base and Rin on mic. "What song you wanna practice?" Itachi asked. "Hmmm... 'Wish'". Everyone began. Itachi played his guitar fast as Obito hit the drums and Shisui hit the base. Sakura's heart pounded as this was her favorite song. Not only was it her favorite song, watching Itachi so concentrated made her heart pound even more. Watching Rin sing, felt like she was singing from her heart. The way she used her arms while she sung was so nice like an angel. After a while of playing the song was over. She couldn't stop looking at Itachi, it was like, her heart want him. She wanted him.

Itachi opens the front door as Sakura hid behind him. "Is it safe?" She asked referring if Sasuke's home. "Don't worry, no ones home for the weekend. They went to my grandparents place". Itachi walked in and turn on the lights as Sakura removed her shoes. "It feels weird. I mean, I know I've been here a couple if times but not without Sasuke". Itachi took her purse and walked into the house with her. "Your hungry? Thirsty?" He walked into the kitchen to grab water. "No, I'm ok". She sat on the coach. Itachi looked at her an chuckled. "You know,there's nothing in the living room to do". Itachi stand next to the stairs while drinking his water. "Well... Umm... You can stair at the vase on top of the table. Or photo's or um.." Sakura said nervously not sure if she wanted to go to his room. "I mean if you want too. Though, my family did leave Friday. And today is Sunday. Soooo, they can come any moment". Itachi teased. Sakura got up an followed him. As they walked towards his room sakura noticed his balcony just like the one she had but bigger. "Wow! I have the same one! She stood next to the glass door and noticed the beautiful view.

"Wow! It's so beautiful". Sakura was amazed at how beautiful the city lights looked. "And so are you". Itachi held her from behind and softly kissed her neck as his left hand started going up her left rib cage. Sakura let out a soft moan as she wanted more. She turn around wrapping her arms around his neck. He pulled her gently by the hips and pressed his lips on her neck. She gently pulled him closer as they began to kiss. He carried her to the bed and started making out. In the back of her mind, it felt wrong but deep down in her heart, she started to have feelings for him.
