Chapter 37 - His Touch

Sakura P.O.V. (Arguing On the phone with Sasuke)

"What you mean? I wasn't talking to any guy!" Sakura shouted. "Yea right. That boy that stopped you in the hallway". Sasuke shouted back. "Um hello! He was just asking we're the history class was! He was new!!!" "Please, I saw the way you guys looked at each other". "You should be the last to talk! You got a fan girl club that surround themselves around you!" "Ugh! Sakura are you stupid?! Why you care? It's not like I'm dating them!" Sasuke started getting even more angry. "We'll you should have since you love them next to you all the time!" "Hmmm, maybe I should". He said sarcastically. "What?..." Sakura stood quiet, so did Sasuke. Sakura started crying out of anger. "You know what Sasuke! It's over!" She hung up. She lay on the bed and hide her face on the pillow, out of no where she thought of Itachi.

It's been two weeks since we were in the hospital with Karin and Shigetsu. It's crazy how they're having a child. Kind of wish it was me... But... I guess we're not ready. Lately, I've been thinking about Itachi... It's crazy... I never thought he be in my mind. I know he's been there for me all the time... But. Lately, When I visit Sasuke, Itachi leaves the room and doesn't come back. Sometimes it makes me feel as if I've done something wrong...

Sasuke P.O.V.

Sasuke walked out of the room, and noticed Itachi walking out if his room. It looked like he just woke up from a nap since he only had his jeans on. "Hey were you you sleeping?" Sasuke walked from behind. "Yea... Really tired..." Itachi grabbed the milk carton and began to drink from the carton. Sasuke noticed he wasn't in the mood. "Dude, you ok?" Sasuke looked at him seriously. "Yup". Itachi put back the carton in the refrigerator and walked passed him. Sasuke looked at him and stood quiet.

(Next day - 2:30pm)

It was the afternoon. Itachi heard a familiar voice down the hall. "Thank you Ms. Uchiha, I'll just place it in his room and leave". Sakura starting walk down the hall towards Sasuke room. Itachi opened his door and quickly pulled her in and pins her against the door, covering her mouth. "Mmmmm!!!" Sakura looked at Itachi in the eyes as he looked back into hers. She didn't know what to say. Her heart started beating fast. "Why are you nervous?" He asked as he removed his hand off her mouth. "I... I..." She stood quiet. He could hear her heart beating fast. He lean and rested his forehead on hers. His long black hair touched her cheeks and his ends rest on her chest. She knew something was wrong. She could feel his forehead burning up. "Itachi, your burning up!" She looked at him worried. "How long have you been feeling feverish?" He stood quiet. She grab his hand and tried bringing her to his bed but he brought her back against the door. "Itachi please... Don't do this..." She began to tear. "Why would you deal with someone who talks to you that way?" Itachi whispered it in her ear. "I...I..." Sakura was speechless as she swallowed nervously . They looked at each other quietly. Tears went down her soft cheeks as he whipped it away. He gently placed his hand on her cheek, lean forward and kissed her forehead. "I heard everything that Sasuke said to you..." Sakura looked down. "Yea... We.. Broke up..." Itachi looked down and noticed a big bag filled with things. "Is that why your here?" She noticed he was looking down at the bag. "Yea. I'm just returning things back..." Itachi let go of her cheek and stood in front of her.

"What are you going to do now?" Itachi asked. "I... I'll move on". She tried to stop her tears. She turn around and open the door but Itachi closed it. He knew she was lying. Sakura stood there with her back facing him and began crying hard. She knee on the floor and covered her face. Itachi went down and held her from behind. She sat on the floor crying harder as he sat behind her holding her. "It's ok".
