Chapter 69 - The End

"SASUKE!!!" Sakura ran but one of the police officers held her back. "SASUKE!!!" She cried harder as she was afraid Sasuke had gotten hurt too. "Get in there!" Fugaku sent four of his cops toward the back of the house while four barged in from the front. Fugaku went in along with the police. One of the police officers held Sakura so she wouldn't enter. "Sasuke-Kun..." Sakura began crying hard.

(Before The Gun Shot)

"Sakura go!" Sasuke push Sakura out the door and closed it behind him. He took the gun he had in his pocket and pointed at Kabuto as she walked out the kitchen. "Really? Sasuke? A gun?You won't shoot". Kabuto laughed and took out a dagger. "By the time i get there, you'll you be wishing you didn't point that gun at me. I'll slice your throat and toss you to your girlfriend!!!" Kabuto charged at him. Sasuke held his breath as he put Kabuto in his sight as he remembered that day Sakura got violated. Sasuke pulled on the trigger as a loud sound pierced the room, Kabuto's limp body slowly started falling to the floor. Sasuke looked down emotionless at Kabuto as Kabuto was gasping for air.

Four cops came from the back entrance as four, including Fugaku came from the front. The police officers from the back entrance noticed Itachi's and Shisui's dead bodies. Fugaku stood by Sasuke's side as he tried to remove the gun from his hand, but Sasuke's fist held on to the gun, clinching it tightly as he began hyperventilating. "Sasuke, hand over the gun". Sasuke looked at his father in shocked. Fugaku took the gun and hand it to another officer. "Boss, I think you want to see this". Fugaku walked to the kitchen and saw the dead bodies. His heart dropped as he saw his son on the floor, dead. He looked at Itachi's open eyes as he couldn't believe his son was gone. He quietly cried, holding on to his scream".

(Hour Later )

The sky got darker as the sun set. Neighbors around the neighborhood crowded around the scene as stretchers with black sheets on them, were carried to the ambulance. Sasuke stood quiet as he was embraced by Sakura. Ino, Hinata, Naruto and Shikamaru watched from behind the police tap tearing up. "Where's Itachi?" Naruto looked at the front entrance to see if he would come out. "I dont see him". Ino looked as well. "You don't think.." Shikamaru looked at Naruto. "He can't!" Naruto said angrily. "Geez. No one will ever know what those two went through. Poor kid. Losing his older brother.." One of the police officer said to the other police officer. Ino, Naruto, Hinata and Shikamaru eyes open up. Hinata covered her mouth as Ino and her began crying. "Nooo...." Naruto looked at Sasuke as Sasuke eyes were still open in shocked. Sasori came out with handcuffs on him as he was taken to the ambulance. Fugaku watched as Itachi's dead body was put into the ambulance and drove away.

Itachi Uchiha (Part 2) (Funeral Day)

It's been a whole week since than. Everyone stood quiet as everything still hit hard to us. I couldn't believe everything that happen and yet I can't seem to forget. I can never go back to that place again. The place I once lived since I was born was now my nightmare. I quickly moved all my things into my own apartment with my roommate with Ino. The gun shot that killed Itachi plays in my head over and over. Sleeping has become difficult now and each time I sleep later and later and I started eating less and less.

As we enter the funeral home, there was nothing but silence as Mrs. Uchiha screamed as her son was lying dead in front of her in his coffin. He wore his Police Uniform and police hat. His skin was pale and his his body was without a soul. It was like he was there but wasn't there. I wanted to throw up so bad from being so nauseous, but I held my self up and faced him. I walked up to Mr. And Mrs. Uchiha and play my respects. I noticed Mr. Uchiha quiet as his face was a bit pale. Mrs.Uchiha had dark bags underneath her eyes and eyes pink from the crying. I sat next to her and began crying as I hugged her tightly.

(40 Minutes later)

"Yea I'm ok, I just need a breather". I said to Ino as I walked outside. I saw Sasuke leaning against the wall as rain was hitting him hard. I covered him with the umbrella as he noticed I was there. "Thanks". He gave me a soft smile. "Your going to catch a cold". I gently wipe the rain drops off his face with my handkerchief. He looked down sad and alone. A tear went down his cheek as he couldn't stop crying. I quickly hugged him and held him. "I'm sorry... So sorry..." I began tearing along side Sasuke. He held on to my shirt and let it out. I could tell he was cold from the rain and from crying all day as he was shivering. I held him tightly. "Sasuke-Kun..." As we stood quiet, Sasuke stood up. I wipped his tears and smiled at him. "Your not alone. I'm here". I squeezed his hand. "Sakura, I need to talk to you... After. Can I stop by tonight?" Sasuke looked down into my eyes. "Y-Yes" I agreed. My heart drop as he gave me that glare. We walked in holding hands as we both stood quiet. It was time to place a flower on top of Itachi Coffin as they were going to burry him soon. As we went one by one, I looked at him one last time before they took him away. Remembering his smile. His laugh. His hugs. His eyes. Visiting me in the hospital. Visit me at the hospital and waking up to him that one day. As I reached and placed the rose on his coffin I began crying extremely hard. The one person who was there for me, was now in a better place. "Thank You"
I kissed the Rose and placed it. As everyone placed their flower and said their prayer, it was time for him to be barrier.

(Later that Night)

"Sasuke, have you finish packing your bags?" Fugaku said as they sat in the living room. "Yes". Sasuke looked at his father seriously. The two looked at each other in a serious angry look. Sasuke held angry towards his father for taking a long time to help Itachi on time. "Sasuke! It is not the right time for this right now. Respect your father". Mikoto said. "Please. I have no respect for a man who let his own son die". Sasuke said as he got up to leave. Fugaku quickly stood and slap Sasuke on the face as Sasuke lip cut open. "Fugaku!" Mikoto got up quickly. "Save it Mikoto. This boy has done nothing but whine and complain about anything and everything! He need to be taught a lesson!" Fugaku grab Sasuke's sweater by the collar. Mikoto tried to release Fugakus grip. "Stop!" Fugaku pushed her aside as she landed in the ground. Sasuke saw her fall and quickly punched his father on the face. "Touch her like that and I promise I'll kill you" Fugaku looked at Sasuke and began beating him up. "Sasuke!" Mikoto shouted.

(2 hours later)

"I wonder what Sasuke wanted to talk about..." Sakura looked at the time as it was getting late. "You don't think it's a break up right?" Ino asked worried. "I hope not.." Sakura looked down. "Whatever it is, I know you guys can go through this. You both love each other and nothing will split you up". Ino encourage her. "Thank you". Sakura smiled. The door bell rang. "Speak of the devil. I'll give you guys space". Ino went to her room and locked the door. Sakura took a breath and relaxed. She open the door and her eyes widen. Tears build up her eyes and mouth open wide. Without words she quickly held Sasuke up and rushed to the bathroom and locked it.
