Chapter 66 - Basement

(Fainted sound of a door closes)
Sakura opened her eyes from a sound coming from down stairs. It was late night and Sakura woke up from a afternoon nap. She sat up and moved the text book to the side near Sasuke. Sasuke also slept from studying so much. Sakura shook Sasuke to wake up. "Sasuke, you lock the door?" Sasuke rose his head up half asleep. "Yea? Why?" He lay on his back shirtless. As he stretched he than also heard a nose. "What was that?" Sasuke got up an leaned his head against the door and heard some more light noises. He put on a shirt and sneakers. He took out the three guns that Itachi gave for protection. Sakura, hide in your bathroom. Sasuke took sneakers, jeans and sweater from her closet and hid her in the bathroom. "Sasuke no! Stay" Sakura started tearing. Sasuke put her in her bathroom tub and handed her a gun with her cellphone. "No Sakura! I can't! Stay!" Sasuke loaded both guns. He handed her a pocket knife and kissed her. "Call Itachi now ok!" Sasuke rushed out and Sakura locked her door.

(Sasuke P.O.V)

Sasuke slowly went down the hallway with the gun up. He walked towards the stairs and stood. He could hear conversation coming from either the basement or the living room. He couldn't pick up the sound well. He slowly walked down the stairs and tried not to make a squeak noise. As everything went well, the last step made a nose. "Fuck..." Sasuke mumbled under his breath. He walked towards the basement and noticed it was locked from the inside. He slowly went to the kitchen and check. There was no one around. He turn around and got punched on the face. He step back and shot the shadowy figure. "Nice shot, did your brother teach you?" A familiar voice laugh. Sasuke eye open wide as the shadow figure came out.

Sakura P.O.V.

Sakura dialed Itachi's number. "Hello?! Sakura!!!" Itachi shouted. "Itachi! Sasuke and I heard noises and Sasuke went to check to check and I'm hiding in my bathroom". Sakura curled up scared. "I'm heading now! Stay hidden!" Sakura held the gun close, scared to hold it. Sakura stood in the dark, quiet as she listened for footsteps. She heard steps coming down from the hall. The steps got louder and louder as it was coming closer. She heard the door crack open she began panicing quietly as she was nervous she would get caught. The door slowly closed. She felt as if someone was still in the room. She dial Itachi's cellphone again. "Itachi!" "Sakura we're on the way! Hold on!!!" Without hearing the bathroom door open, the shower curtain opened.
