Chapter 80 - Tragic Nightmare

Ino left the apartment as she was heading to work. She had a book bag with her uniform and her working shoes. "Mom! You think papa will love these flowers?" A little girl said as she was holding her mother's hand. "Yes sweety. We need to clean his grave first and change the old flowers" Ino overheard. She look down and continue to walk. 30 minutes later she arrived at the flower shop her family works in. She entered and saw Deidara working. The two didn't say a word as they both ignored each other's presence. Ino was still angry at the fact that Deidara drugged Sakura, and never apologized her for doing so. She hated his guts and could never forgive him. She went to the locker room and changed.

The door open as the door charm made noises. "Hello, Welcome to..." Ino looked at the person and realized it was Shikamaru. "Hey". Shikamaru greeted. Deidara gave him a evil look and went in the back. "Can I help you?" Ino said as she wasn't in the mood to deal with him. "Do you have any roses?" Shikamaru looked around. "Yea. How many do you want?" Ino went into into the front where the roses were together. "Dozen". Ino took out a dozen roses and brought it back to the cashier section and began rubberbanding it together and wrapping it with paper. "SO. Sai huh? I'm surprised you're into boys like him". Shikamaru tried talking to her "Why do you care?" She looked for the tape.

"We're friends, aren't we? Are we suppose to care for one another?" Shikamaru chuckled. "That day you lay your hand on me, you lost all my respect". Ino continue finding the tape. "DEIDARA! WHERES THE TAPE?" Ino shouted. Deidara came out while talking on the phone with someone, passed her the tape and left. "Ino, im sorry. I don't know how many times i have to apologized". "I don't want your apology. I want you to leave me the fuck alone." Ino gave him a evil look. "Ino... Please. What can i do to make it up to you?" Shikamaru placed his hand on top of her hand. Ino looked down and began remembering of that awful day. "You left me for that fucking bitch. You let her hurt me and you cheated on me. I couldn't even go home because i didn't want mom and dad to see me in that condition. I had bruises all over my body and as nice as i am, i didn't report you". Ino took her hand away.

Shikamaru looked away. Ino lean forward and looked at him in the eye. "I want nothing to do with you Shikamaru Nara. You are dead to me". Shikamaru have a shocked face expression. "That will be $12" Ino gave him a fake smile as Shikamaru pulled out a $20 and handed. She gave him back money and handed him the roses.

(Lunch Time)
Ino sat outside in the rain trying to forget the memories of that awful day. Deidara came out and covered Ino with an umbrella. "So, Shikamaru hit you that day huh". Deidara began smoking his cigarette. "Yea". Ino looked down. "Don't worry. I won't attack him. I think you already solved this problem, and learned from it". Ino stood quiet tearing. "So who's this new boy you're dating?" Deidara asked trying to build a conversation.

"His name is Sai, and we aren't really dating" Ino wiped her tears. "Yet?" Deidara teased. Ino smiled and blushed. "Well, I hope you guys last". Ino blushed. "Yea". Deiara handed her $50. "Whats this?" Ino took it. "Go home or go hang out with him. I'll take over your shift today". "Thank you" Ino got up and hugged him. "I'm sorry for not being that big brother you remember before. I hope you can forgive me" Deidara hugged her back. "I love you little sister". "I love you too big brother". Ino began crying and hugged him tighter.

Chapter 80.5 - ShikaIno & InoSai

(Shikamaru P.O.V)
"Fuck. Why did i do that.." Shikamaru thought to himself as he walked down the street trying to remember that day he saw Ino's face bruised up. As he made a turn around the corner, he noticed Sai walking down. With a big sketch pad. Shikamaru gave him an evil glare of jealousy. Shikamaru stood in his way and looked at him as Sai looked at him emotionless. "What?" Sai looked at him. "So. I'm guessing your with Ino now huh?". "And if I am?" Sai answered back. "Oh nothing. Just take care of her". Shikamaru bump shoulders with him. "Did you go out with her?" Sai turn around. Shikamaru look at him and looked up. "Yea i did". Sai looked at him still with an emotionless look.

"So why aren't you guys together?" "Because I'm not good for her. Even though I still care about her, it wouldn't even matter. Because in the end, She's better off without me". Shikamaru turn around to walk away. "Sometimes, i wish she just had Amnesia and forget about me. Because i know she would be more happier". Shikamaru walked away with the bouquet of flowers in his hands. Sai looked at him as he walked away and thought to himself. Sai turn around and walked back home.

(Ino P.O.V)
"I wonder where Sai went? He's late.." Ino looked at her cellphone for the time. "Waiting for someone? I thought you were going home?" Deidara said has he came in the shop with a big bucket of bouquet of roses already wrapped and ready to put in display. "Yea for Sai. He was suppose to come now and he's not here yet..." Ino began worrying. "Text him". Deidara said as he was going outside of the shop. Ino's heart pounded as she felt nervous. "Why am i... nervous..."
