Baby Emelie

     Today, I am due. All my mom and I have been doing is sitting on the couch. My mom's phone starts to ring so she gets up and walks into the kitchen. I hear her say

"Hey. This is her. I can't make it. My daughter's due date is today. I'm not coming. Let me talk to Steve. Hey, so I can't come to the meeting. My daughter's due date is today and I'm not missing my grand baby's birth. No, but she might go into labor soon." She hangs up the phone and walks back into the living room.

"Who was that?"

"Capitol Records."

"What did they want?"

"There's a meeting soon. I have to go to it. No exceptions."

"Did you tell them that I might go into labor soon."

"Yes, but they said that since you're not in labor right now, that I still have to go."

"Be back, soon, please." 

"I'm not leaving until my sister gets here. I'm not leaving you alone." She texts her sister. Ten minutes later, Angela walks through the door. She sits next to me on the couch after giving my mom a hug and kiss on the cheek

     My mom has been gone for about an hour and a half and I went into labor. I'm just walking around the house with my aunt and midwife. They already have the tub of water ready. Everyone is pretty much here. My grandparents, Laura Marano, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lawrence, my uncle, and Abby. The only two people that aren't here are my mom and Celeste. My aunt called Celeste and told her I was in labor and she said that she would try to make it

Katy's POV

     I am sitting in a meeting and my sister calls me. I take my phone out of my pocket as everyone stares at me. They dismiss me. I answer

"Hey."

"She went into labor a little while ago."

"How much is she dilated?"

"About 6 inches. Not much longer to go. Hurry up and get here. She keeps asking for you."

"I'll see what I can do." I walk back into the meeting room, but I don't sit down

"Yes, Katy."

"My daughter is in labor."

"Is she pushing yet?"

"No, but she doesn't have much longer to go."

"How far is she dilated?"

"About 6 inches."

"She still has time. Sit." I sit back down in my seat

Samie's POV

     I am taking my clothes off to get in the tub and they help me step in

     I am 8 centimeters dilated and almost 9

"I'm going to record for your mom."

"I'm not pushing until she gets here!"

"She's in a meeting, baby."

"Call her again!" I get on my knees and put my arms on the edge of the tub. The flooring of the tub is padded so it doesn't hurt. My aunt puts the phone on speaker

"They better let you fucking leave! I'm not pushing until you step into this house!"

"I'll try again, but I don't know if they'll let me. They probably won't let me go until you start pushing."
