Braxton Hicks Contractions

I am 29 weeks so far. Which is 7 months. I have been feeling pain like period cramps every once in a while. My mom thinks they might be Braxton Hicks, but I call my aunt to ask her

"Whatcha need?"

"I was just wondering if you had Braxton Hicks."

"Yeah, why? Are you starting to have them?"

"I think. What did they feel like to you?"

"Well, mine started a little bit earlier along than what you are. They started off as mild cramps, but then got worse and more painful as I got closer to labor."

"Okay, that's basically what mine feel like. Some of them hurt a little bit worse than period cramps though."

"Yeah, some of them do."

"Well, thanks."

"Anytime, baby. Am I still welcome in the delivery living room?"

"Of course. I don't think I would be able to do it without you."

"It's bad, but you're strong. I know you are. And anyways, your mom was a pretty good assistant midwife during my pregnancy."

"I may or may not have seen videos. It depends on if you would get mad."

"No, she told me she planned on showing you when you got pregnant or just for the fun of hearing me scream my head off."

"Oh, I was not laughing because I knew soon I was going to feel that pain."

"Ha, it hurts, Trust me, but once you get handed the baby, you feel nothing, but love."

"I bet. Well, I gotta go. I'm supposed to be going over to Celeste's house today to get to know her family more since we kinda ran away the last time I was over."

"Oh, okay. Well, have fun."

"I will. Bye."

"Bye." I hang up the phone. My mom walks into my room

"Who was that?"

"Aunt Ang. I was just asking her about my contractions."

"Oh, okay. Are you still going over to Celeste's house today?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Unless, something came up."

"Have fun."

"I will. She's my girlfriend. Why wouldn't I have fun being at her house?"

"Maybe because she has a sister that hates me and calls you a devil worshiper all the time."

"We are past that. She apologized and I accepted it."

"Okay, well. Have fun."

"I will." The doorbell rings. 

"Who could that be?"

"I don't know. I told Celeste that I was going to drive over to her house myself."

"Go see who it is." I walk over to the door and look at the hidden screen that shows the security cameras and it's Celeste. I open the door

"What are you doing here, babe?" I kiss her on the lips

"Well, I heard you've been having Braxton Hicks and I didn't want you to have one when you were driving and get in a wreck."

"They're not that bad. I can manage them when I drive."

"Oh, well. To be on the safe side."

"Okay, well, I guess I have no choice now." We leave and I get into the passenger side of the car. She starts to drive to her house. I grab her hand and she smiles. I lean to my side a little bit
