Sydney

We are back in Australia and the first thing we do is go to bed. l just got done with a concert and then we went back to the hotel to sleep for about 6 hours because we were going to head for Sydney very early in the morning. We wanted to get here before the afternoon so we have some time to sleep then go and walk around to find things to do. We are going to be staying here for 4 days counting today and the day we leave. l don't have a concert today. l don't have a concert on the last day we will be here, but l have an interview on Sunrise. The other two days are concert days

"Mom, do you want to get ready and walk around?" Samie asks

"Sure," l say as we both run to the restroom to get ready, but l make it to the restroom first

"Todd!!! Larry!!!" Samie yells and l hear them run into the hotel room. "Will you do my make-up and hair because my mom is a butt head and l can't do my make-up without a mirror?

"Of course," they say in unison

By the time they are done, l am still in the restroom.

"Todd, will you go get Erin for me, please and thank you," she says as they walk out the door

"Okay, Samie," he says. A minute later, Erin walks into the room

"Yes, Samie," Erin says

"l don't know what to wear. Me and mom are going out, but l don't know what to wear. She is probably cooking up something sexy, but l want something to compete with that, but still cute and innocent like me," she says

"Well, this sounds like a time for 'the dress.' lt was supposed to be a Christmas present, but l don't think l could have gone that long without you seeing it. l will be right back," Erin says as she runs out of the room, then runs back in with a gift box.

"Are you sure?" she asks

"Go ahead. Open it. You will love it. lt is just enough to compete with your mom's clothes, but subtle enough to be innocent," Erin says as Samie lifts the top of the box off and pulls the dress out of the box

"Omg, Erin, you didn't have to. Where did you find something like this? l have never seen it before." she says

"That's because me, Lisa, Laura, and Abby made it together," Erin says

"Tell them all l said thank you and that l love it," she says and Erin walks out of the room. l walk out of the restroom

"Finally, it's about time you get done," she says

"l did my own make-up and hair, you didn't," l say

"That's not my fault," she says

"Do you like the dress that they made you?" l ask

"Yes, how do you know about it?" she asks

"They needed my help to know what you would like," l say as Samie grabs a strapless bra and walks into the restroom. After a couple of minutes, she walks back out with her dress on.

"How do l look?" she asks as she slowly spins around

"Gorgeous," l say. She stops spinning and gives me the evil eye

"Last time you called me gorgeous, l looked horrible," she says

"Now, l mean it," l say as l brush her curly hair back behind her ear

"You are even more gorgeous," she says

"Well, of course, l am," l say jokingly

"l'm being serious. You always wear these skin tight dresses and you look really good in them," she says
