Chrissy and I are still on the edge about things. I keep repeating what she said and what Jess said about Arizona and Callie. If it means that I'll be with Chrissy, I'll have a bunch of kids. She hasn't really talked to me since we got back to LA and it's killing me. I go downstairs to my mom and Orlando talking. My mom's engagement ring is beautiful.

"Hey, good morning, sweetie."

"Morning." I force a smile

"What's wrong?"

"Can I talk to you.. alone?" I am looking at Orlando

"Yeah, yeah, of course." My mom looks at Orlando before walking off into the kitchen

"What's wrong, Sams?"

"How did you know when the right time to propose to my mom was?" He laughs

"I didn't, Samie. If you try and wait for the right time, you'll never do it. There's never exactly a right time to. Why?"

"I want to propose.. to Chrissy."

"Really? That's great."

"I just feel like it's too early."

"Samie, if she was talking about having babies with you then I'm pretty sure she wants to get married."

"That's true, I guess. Thanks, Dad."

"Dad?"

"I'm getting a head start. I want to be used to calling you dad when you legally become my dad." He kisses me on the cheek. When I get up, I see that my mom was watching us.

"You like him, don't you?"

"Yes, he's a keeper. Don't scare him off like every other guy you've been with." She spanks my butt as I walk off. I get into my car and drive to Chrissy's house, but her car isn't in the driveway. I knock on the door and her mom answers the door.

"Chrissy's not here at the moment."

"I was actually wanting to talk to Mr. Mabel."

"Oh.. Okay. He's in the kitchen." She lets me in. I walk into the kitchen and Chrissy's dad is sitting down with his legs crossed, reading a newspaper.

"Samie, hello. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I wanted to ask you something.. A private thing."

"Of course, of course. Anything for my daughter's love."

"I know it's a bit early, but I know Chrissy's ready for the next step."

"What do you mean?"

"I want to propose."

"Samie, she's not even out of high school."

"She's already thinking about babies. She said she wanted to have babies with me."

"She has brought that up a couple of times. Why are you telling me this?"

"I want your blessing."

"My blessing, huh? How kind of you."

"Well, I just figured it would be the right thing to do. I'd never want to anger the Colonel." A smile appears across his lips

"You have my blessing, Samie."

"Really?"

"Yes, of course. She really loves you. Every time you two get in an argument, she never shuts up about how much she loves you even though she's mad at you." A smile appears across my lips this time. He stands up and gives me a hug. This is the first time he has given me a hug in the whole time Chrissy and I have been dating. I leave after finding out where Chrissy is. She's at Jacy's house. I knock on the door to Jacy's house after finding it. I've never been to her house so I had to put it in my GPS. An older woman opens the door.
