I'm Sorry

      It is 3 days before the Super Bowl. I wake up and I am in my mom's bed still, but she isn't. There are toilet paper rolls in the bed. I go downstairs, but my mom isn't down there either. I find a note that reads

Dear Samie,
        I went out to go practice for the SB. There is breakfast in the fridge for you. Around noon, Tamra or Shannon is going to come pick you up for lunch. After we eat lunch, you are going to go with Tamra while I get things ready for the surprise for you.
              Love, Mom
P.S. I didn't want to wake you up because you looked so cute. Also, there was a reason there was two toilet paper rolls in the bed *wink* *wink*

     I laugh because I realize why my mom put two toilet paper rolls in the bed. She's crazy. I get the breakfast that she made me out of the fridge and secretly get a box out of the Thin Mint stash that my mom has and I sit down on the couch to watch TV. I stop to wonder what the surprise is.  Like is my mom throwing me a party? I want to know what she is doing, but it is probably just to get me to apologize or to make me show my love towards her again. I don't know, but whatever it is, it is probably a big deal. All of her fans probably know about it.

     I am laying on the couch with my gingerbread man onsie on watching How I Met Your Mother on Netflix when I hear a knock on the front door. I figured it was Tamra because my mom did say that she was going to pick me up. I open the door while taking a bite of a Thin Mint and there are two little girls in girl scout outfits. They instantly recognize me so they start getting excited. The woman, who I guess is their leader, tells them to calm down.

"Mrs. Vouski, she has already bought some though," one of the girls say while starting to walk to the next house.

"Actually, I have some money to spare," I say as I grab $50. "How many can I get with this?"

     The little girls look at me then look at the money. One of them takes the money and hands me the boxes and my change. I put the money on the counter that is right inside the door.

"Can I get a picture with you two really quick?" I ask

"OMG!! Of course!!"they shout in unison. I sit down on the porch and they sit down next to me. I get out my phone and take a picture with them. I stand up and they give me a hug goodbye.

"Hold on," I say as I grab two boxes of Thin Mints and a Sharpie. I sign them and give them to the little girls and they start screaming. They, once again, give me a hug.

"Okay, girls. She is probably trying to spend time with her mom," the leader says. Their eyes get all wide like they didn't even think about my mom being home.
