l never really went back to sleep after Samie woke me up. l don't know why she has been having the same occurring nightmare. lt was a long time ago, so why is she just starting to have that nightmare now? The alarm on my phone starts to go off so l get out of bed. lt is time to get up for my first concert in Melbourne. lt is the 14th of November which means that Samie gets her cast off in 4 days. l think l am as excited as she is. The doctor has been telling her to put a little bit of pressure on it, but not a lot. l think she has been doing really well with putting pressure on it. She says it doesn't hurt anymore. Since she is getting her cast off in 4 days, we decided we were going to pull a prank on my fans at the last concert in Melbourne.
"Are you ready to head to the arena?" l ask Samie
"Yeah, if you are," she says
"Make sure you do your job during the concert," l say
"l know, l will," she says as she puts her jacket on, grabs her phone, puts her locket on, and walks out the door. l follow her.
"l can't wait until l get my cast off because l am really excited about that prank. l just hope it goes right because we can't really practice it that well," she says
"Even if you do mess up, it will be a moment that everyone in that room will remember," l say
"l know," she says
When we get to the arena, everything is pretty much in place. We start to run through everything so that l don't forget to do something. After we have gone through everything, we start to hear people outside. That is Samie's que to go do the first part of her job. She goes down to the first floor and everyone screams when they see her.
Samie's POV
l have body guards clear me a path so l can get out there. l have signed posters of me and Katy from when we did a photo shoot together before l broke my leg. One of the people that work with Katy was out there with me and they went around finding people that were dressed up in cute outfits and brought them to me where l gave them back stage passes. They were very excited about that. There was this girl that was dressed up as Kathy Beth Terry. She was dead on from the outfit to the hair. She asked me:
"Do you like kissing girls?"
"l mean, l don't hate it, but my mom likes kissing girls more than l do," l say as l laugh a little and so does the girl
"Can you, maybe, take a picture with me and kiss my cheek?" she asks. "Don't worry, l washed my cheek fifty-billion times before l left to come here because l wanted to take this picture,"
"l guess it wouldn't hurt me," l say. Her friend gets her phone out and l put my lips against the girl's cheek and they take the picture.
"Thank you so much," the girl says as she gives me a hug and walks away with her friend. A couple minutes later, l get a message on my phone from my mom.
Queen Mama Cat: Hey, r u in 2 kissing girls 2
Me: Wht makes u ask tht
Queen Mama Cat: Well theres a pic on Twitter tht l got tagged in of u kissing this girl
Me: Ohhh she wanted me 2 kiss her cheek as she took a pic
Queen Mama Cat: Oh okay and u need 2 start headin back in Shows bout 2 start
Me: Okay l will be up there in a couple mins Luh ya
Queen Mama Cat: Luh ya
"Hey, will you tell your mom to read my sign when she comes on stage?" someone asks me as l see a boy and girl approach me. They looked a little older than me
