Nico swore under his breath as he stomped through the slight snowy trails of the camp. Hugging his aviators jacket close to his shivering form as he walked to the dinning pavilion where he was instantly warmed by the magic field around it. He shivered and walked towards his table. Passing other cabins as they chatted amongst themselves.
Mostly girls giggling and gossiping about the coming holiday. Valentine's Day.

Now being that it was a Greek camp, you'd expect they wouldn't celebrate such holidays. But no they did. Even allowing some campers to leave for dates. Well, not all. The big three's children had to stay behind. Not that Nico minded much. He of course was single on the holiday of love. But had his eye on a certain child of (G/P).

Nico sat at his table. Alone as usual and picked at his meal. Not so subtly starring at a camper who sat amongst his siblings chatting away. Nico smiled as he saw the camper imitate what he could guess was a minotaur.

Nico was undeniably in love with said camper. Aphrodite herself shipped the two complaining to (G/P) that their child had no sense for love. And even if they did they weren't looking in the right people. (G/P) would only roll their eyes and state that it wasn't important, (though Aphrodite would press on how important it was.)

Nico felt a hand pat his back as someone sat at his bench. Looking to the side he met the brown eyes of Leo.

"Starring at him again?" Leo chuckled glancing towards the (G/P)'s child.

Nico scoffed and shook his head, crossing his arms across his chest.

"N-No." He stuttered. Leo cocked a brow and smirked. Basically showing his disbelief.

"Fine, yes I was." Nico admitted. Watching as Leo grinned.

You see; Leo was one of the few people who knew of his little "crush". Along with Hazel who found out during a visit where it accidentally slipped when Leo asked his type...

"So? You gonna ask him out for Valentine's?" Leo asked waggling his eyebrows, snapping Nico from thought.

"U-um I don't know if-" He stuttered.

"Hey (M/N)!" Leo yelled. Said (e/c) eyed camper snapped his vision towards the two.
Leo waved his arms obnoxiously. Gaining attention of most of the campers.

Nico watched as (M/N) excused himself from his table jogging over towards Hades table.

"Hey guys." (M/N) said in the strange cute-but-manly tone that drove Nico insane.

"Hi (M/N)! Nico here has something to say to you." Leo said nudging the shaking Italian. Nico sputtered before looking at the male befor him.

(M/N) was special to Nico. In many ways that he could only admire from afar. He liked the way (M/N) could talk to anybody. The way his lips curled when he smiled. He liked the way (M/N)'s hair looked when he woke up and wandered to breakfast in his pajamas still; being he wasn't a morning person. He liked the way he would sleepily chatter with his siblings. While time and time again accidentally falling asleep at the table; face planting into breakfast. He liked the way (M/N) looked when he fought with his weapon. Like everything depended on the way his blade twisted and jabbed.
He liked the way his hair shone in the summers light. Reflecting the (h/c) strands like precious metals held by gods.
He liked the way (M/N)'s hair looked when it snowed. The snowflakes dotting his hair like the constalations in the dark midnight sky.
He liked the way (M/N)'s eyes shimmered when he spoke of his quests. Like he was an ancient Greek hero. Actively showing the story as he spoke. The way the males flashed excitement, and glimmered in firelight as he hummed along to camp songs.
He loved the way (M/N) helped other campers. Nearly killing himself after saving a fellow camper when the bull attacked last summer.
He loved it when (M/N) would come and sometimes sit by Nico. Talking about anything and everything at the campfire or the dining pavilion. Making the younger boys heart race as the other spoke care free. No matter what the others thought about the strange duos friendship.
He loved (M/N). More than anything.
