So it's set place in WW2 and John is a retired army doctor, who works at a hospital and it paid pretty hella well from his marriage with Mary (that bitch) and he gets a patient.

Rushed in an ambulance, knocked out. The doctors refuse to take care of him because of what he did. He overdosed. They think he's just another selfish little piece of shit, taking pills that could've been used to save other people.

But John takes care of him for two weeks. After a while he get to know him, even though he's asleep most of time, not talking. He worked for the military as a commander for a while before shot, nearly dying, but that was two years ago. They share war stories, and talk together.

And Mary starts talking, about John spending more time with Sherlock than he does with her. He doesn't really want to talk to Mary anymore, she's being all hostile, like he's done something wrong. He's just taking care of another patient, there's nothing wrong with that.

Until Sherlock leaves. Not even halfway through his recovery. John goes insane, looking for Sherlock. Everything thinks he's just sleep deprived or something, 'cause he's ripping apart the city looking for Sherlock. And when he does find him, he just loses it. He shouts, screams, and punches him.

And Sherlock smiles.

"Oh killing me, that's so two years ago." And John just loses it, he's laughing until he's nearly choking and his heart is just pumping and there's just adrenaline and he kisses Sherlock, not in romance, but just out of nerves.

And Mary sees.

She tells the authorizes, and John's taken to court. Sherlock's a witness. He turns and asks for private audience with the judge.

Five minutes he comes out in handcuffs and guards pointing guns at him.

"Sherlock Holmes has been accused of sexually assaulting the well known Doctor John Watson." Sherlock takes the fall for John, his name is already in shambles after the time that his plans failed and got soldiers killed.

John's on the hand was perfect. He was a good man, and Sherlock protects his name.

The price?

His life.
