"Two pumpkin spice lattes please." I told the cashier woman at Starbucks. I noticed Lina in the halls all the time, but was too shy to talk to her. She would either be hanging out with the prettiest girls in school, Savannah and Genevieve, or hanging out with the popular girls, AKA, the Barbie dolls. Now was my chance to finally make a friend.

"So, I see your friends with Brook." I said a few minutes later, sipping on my coffee. "How's that fabulous life working out for you?" "Oh, well, I don't really hang out with Brook and her friends anymore, it turns out that they're just a bunch of stuck up snobs." She said back. "I know how that feels. Believe it or not, Brook and I used to be best friends as well."

I studied Lina's face and it looked like a light bulb had just then went off in her head. "Oh yeah, I remember you..." She said...

----FLASH BACK-----

I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, but I tell Brook to stand on the table in the Cafeteria at school. Next thing I know, I grab a microphone and start a speech I had practiced that night, confessing my lesbian love for Brook and asking her out. This idea didn't go so well as I had planned in my head. Everyone in the cafeteria started laughing at us and calling us fags.

"Are you kidding me?" Brook snapped, still on top of the table. "I'm not a homo like you Meghan. You really thought embarrassing me like this would get your way with me?"   She then hopped off the table and pushed me to the ground. "Don't ever talk to me again you homosexual bitch!"

------ END FLASH BACK------

Since that horrific event, Brook and I haven't talked. Well, unless you count the party she had last semester. But, I'd rather not talk about that...

"Oh yeah, your that lesbian girl who had a crush on her right?" Lina asked me. I gulped, "Yeah, I'm guessing this is the part were you think I'm nothing but a gay fag, am I right?" "No no!" She said. I relaxed a bit. "I guess you could say I'm bi-curious. I've never kissed a girl before though..." Was she hinting something? "Well then, maybe we should take these drinks to go." I said. I took her hand and led her to my car.

Lina's P.O.V

"You've really never kissed a girl before?" Meghan asked me as we both sat on her blue canopy bed. "Nope. I've never even kissed a boy before." Meghan smiled a cute little half smile and gently pulled my head toward hers.

Her lips were soft and gentile and I didn't want to let go. The kiss only lasted a second. But it could have been what was the best second of my life...

This chapter wasn't very long, I know. But I promise, the ideas I have coming up will definitely make up for that. ;)
