"Of coarse I'll go to Homecoming with you Sage!" I said with a wide smile. I gave him a hug and a peck on the cheek.

I had come over to Sage's house for dinner. We were in his room, cuddling on his bed, when he popped the question about the game tonight.

"I'm kinda bummed I won't get to play in the game, but that just makes it easier for me to spend more time with you tonight." He said putting his hands around my waste and laying his head on my shoulder.

"I still have no idea how I'm gonna sneak in." I said.

"I'm sure Lina and Jenny will figure something out."

I turned around to face him and placed my hand on his cheek. I looked into his piercing blue eyes and kissed him. He smiled with his cheeks hot and red, still not breaking eye contact with me.

"What was that for?" He asked.

"Just because I love you." I said. "Because you never fail to amaze me. Everyday there is something new that makes me love you even more than the day before. <3"

He smiled once more, and pressed his forehead against mine. Just as we were about to kiss again, we heard someone from the door way clear there throat.

Bridgette.

"Sorry to interrupt, but your friends are here to pick you up..." I could since the jealousy in her voice and it made me amused, so I held Sage's hand and kissed his cheek, and walked out of his bedroom with his hand in mine, then looked back to see Bridgette practically green with envy.

I know she means well, but I also know how she feels about Sage. I just want to make sure she knows he's off limits.

Once we get outside, we find Jenny and Lina  inside their car ready to pick us up for the game.

"Please promise me that if you're sneaking me in, it won't send us to salutary confinement..." I said with worry in my eyes. I didn't need to be in anymore trouble than I was already in.

"Just trust us okay?" Jenny said as she started up the car. "We're just gonna buy ourselves a ticket, Lina and I are gonna find a way to distract the person selling the tickets, and you just hide behind Sage into the gates... It's simple."

I rolled my eyes and layed my head on Sage's shoulder. Prepare for a crazy night Savvy. I thought to myself.

Once we got there, we all did just as Jenny said. As Lina and Jenny walked up to the person selling tickets, Sage blocked me from his view and pushed me passed the crowd of people, past the ticket desk, and through the gates. It was easier than I thought it would be, and we waited for Lina and Jenny by the gate that had a huge poster of Tom hanging from it that said: In loving memory of Tom Dawson.

I looked down at my feet, and Sage hugged me once he saw the poster. "It's okay Savvy." He said after kissing me on the forehead.

After Lina and Jenny got their tickets, we linked arms and took a seat on the bleachers next to Meghan.

I don't know a thing about football, or any other kind of sport for that matter. But Sage, Lina, Jenny, and Meghan all seemed to be having loads of fun, screaming and cheering and jumping out of their seats. And I was having lots of fun too... Until I got a phone call from my mom...

"Uh, one second guys, my mom's calling..." I said worriedly. If she was calling me, she probably just realized I wasn't home.

I rushed past the crowd and snuck into the bathroom. As soon as I picked up the phone, my eardrums nearly broke from my mom screaming at me...

"Savannah Reed where the Hell are you? I've been looking everywhere for you and you had your father and I worried sick! I called about a hundred times!"

"I'm sorry mom I'm at Lina's house studying and I forgot to tell you..." I said, hoping she would believe me.

"You're lying!"

"Wha-what?"

"You're suspended from school, how can you be studying if you have nothing to study?

Well shit...

"Now tell me the truth Savannah, where are you?"

"Okay Okay, I'm sorry... I'm at the Homecoming game..."

"What?!" She yelled. "While being suspended? What were you thinking? Don't you realize how much trouble you could be in? Come home right now young lady!"

She hung up the phone and I sighed. Well, I thought. It was fun while it lasted.

While Jenny, Lina, and Meghan all stayed behind, Sage offered to take me home.

"Can I drive Babe?" I asked, giving Sage my puppy dog eyes. He smiled and blushed. "Fine." He said with a sigh as he threw the keys to me.

"I'm really sorry we got you in trouble Sav." Sage said worriedly as I started backing out of the parking lot. "I had fun with you though."

I smiled and my phone beeped, saying I had a text message.

"Hey babe, can you check that for me?" I asked.

He grabbed my phone, and I could see his smile slowly fade away as he read the text.

"What is it baby?" I asked. "What does it say?"

I took the phone from him, and continued to look down at my phone and look back up at the road.

The text message said: I thought a relationship was supposed to be for only two people Savannah... Who's Jason? -A
