Meghan ~chapter 55

Homecoming Game-
July 13th, 6:30-8:00
In memory of Tom Dawson

I ripped the flyer off the wall and read it. I was happy the school was finally doing something in memory of Tom, and what happened to him was awful, but I still remember what he did to me. He used me to get Satan, AKA, Brooke's attention. I truly loved him, back then that is, but I get some things aren't meant to last. But, I felt it would be rude not to attend this event.

"Hey, babe." I said, stopping Lina in the hallway. "There's this Homecoming event coming up tomorrow, maybe we should go together." I handed her the flyer. "I don't know." She said after a moment of reading it. "I'm not really a big fan of social events, and I didn't really know Tom all that well."

"Come on baby, It'll be fun." I said, linking arms with her and giving her the puppy dog eyes.

"Ugh, you know I can't say no to you when you give me that look." She said with a cute little smile. She kissed me on the cheek and gave in. "Okay, fine. I guess I'll go. But only for a little bit though."

I smiled and gave her a hug, then walked to class.

---------Lina's POV---------------------------------

"Hey Jenny, have you heard about the homecoming game tomorrow?" I asked at lunch.

"Omg, yes I'm so excited." She said with a huge grin on her face. "Please tell me you're going."

"I plan to." I said, taking a sip of my iced tea. "Meghan would be pissed if I didn't."

"We need to call Savvy and tell her about it." Jenny said. "I know she's suspended but we could probably find a way to sneak her in."

"I don't know, do you think she's still mad at me for what I did a few months ago?"

"Of coarse not. I don't think Savannah is the type to hold grudges." Jenny said, as she got out her phone to call her.

Once she picked up, Jenny put it on speaker. "Hey Savvy, when are you aloud to come back to school?" She asked.

"I'm not sure. I think in another week or two, why?"

"There's a Homecoming game tomorrow and Lina and I want you to come."

Silence.

"Oh, I don't know, will Brooke be there?"

"Probably, but why should that matter?" Jenny said. "You need to stop stressing so much about that little rat and have some fun for once in your life, after all, they're doing some sort of memorial for Tom there." 

"I guess you're right." Savvy said back. "But there's no way my parents are gonna let me go. Besides, I'm not aloud to attend any type of school function while I'm suspended." 

"That's why we're gonna sneak you in." 

"Are you sure we won't get caught?"

"Oh I'm sure. Lina and I are experts when it comes to things like this. We'll pick you up after school to go shopping." And with that, Jenny hung up.

When Lina and I pulled up into Savvy's driveway, she was already waiting on her door step for us. She smiled once Lina got out of the car to open the door for her. They ran up to each other and hugged as if they were just being reunited after being away from each other for years.
