I let a tear roll down my cheek. Usually I wouldn't cry In front of people because it's not manly. But I just couldn't hold it in. This was it. Without savvy I felt lost. Savvy, who I loved deeply, didn't love me back. I reread the note, not quite understanding why she would do this.
'I wish I could tell you why but sadly, I can't" why couldn't she tell me? I wondered. I wanted to talk to her, I wanted to apologize for whatever I did. But I was too afraid that she would just treat me like brook did and I would find her behind a vending machine making out with some other guy. And she would just end up breaking my heart again. So, instead, I just sat by my locker, sobbing. And honestly, I don't care who saw me at this point. I loved savvy with all my heart. But instead, she let me go.
Suddenly, brook and her friends walked up to me. Brook looked worried and her so called 'friends' just stood behind her. "Sagey! What's wrong?" She said to me in her sweet but fake I'm-so-innocent-voice. "Just leave me alone." I said. I didn't want to talk with her. She would just make things worse. "Let me guess." Brook said, sitting down next to me. "Savvy broke your heart?" "How did you know that?" I asked, wiping the tears off my face. I wasn't going to let Brooke see me cry. Not now...
"Well, a little birdie told me she was planning to break up with you a long time ago." Brooke said with a pittyful look in her eyes. "She told me you would be better off with me." I looked at Brooke a minute. She did have a point. I mean, sure, Brooke could be a mean, conniving, little bitch sometimes but she would never break my heart like that. And besides, maybe being with Brooke meant getting savvy jealous. Then she'll have to take me back....
right?
