You sat on your interviewer's chair, waiting on the actor to show up. Being one of the lead reporters for an entertainment magazine/web show had its perks, you met more actors and singers than you could ever have dreamt of. "Ms. (L/n)? Mr. Hiddleston has arrived," your assistant told you.
"Thank you, Anne. How much longer?" You asked, looking up from your notes.
"He's just getting set up with a microphone, it shouldn't take that much longer," she replied before hurrying back off camera. Sure enough, a few minutes later the man himself walked onto the small set-up.
"Hi, Mr. Hiddleston. I'm (y/n), I'll be your interviewer today," you said with a smile, standing up to shake his hand.
"Please, darling, just call me Tom," he said with a smile of his own. You felt your heart melt a bit, and realized why your boss didn't let the well-known Hiddleston fangirl conduct the interview.
"Well, Tom, we're just going to be talking about the film, no curveballs are going to be thrown at you," you told him. "This won't be like the Smosh interview," you added as a joke.
"Oh lord, you saw that?" He asked with a small laugh. "That was definitely something else entirely."
"It was, anyways, shall we get to it?" You asked as your assistant motioned that it was time to start the interview. Tom nodded, and Anne began the countdown. 3...2...1... Action.
"Hello, I'm (f/n) (l/n) and I'm here with Mr. Tom Hiddleston, best known for his recurring role as Loki. So, Mr. Hiddleston, how does it feel to return to the Marvel set?" You asked, looking over at him with a smile on your face. He paused for a second before answering, taken aback by your sudden professionalism.
"It's fantastic, seeing everybody again. There's nothing like the feeling of family that everyone shares in Marvel movies," he replied. The interview went smoothly after that, asking all the questions that were required of you and a few that you had gotten over Twitter from some fans.
"Okay, final question from LokiLove on Twitter, great username by the way," you joked, looking down at the card with the printed question. "Who would you date in Hollywood?"
"Oh, I couldn't say," he said, his signature laugh making an appearance at the end. "So many ladies are just wonderful, I really can't say."
"I mean you could've gone Scarlett or Hayley, but anyways, that's it for this interview," you joked, addressing the camera now. "Make sure to see the newest Marvel movie, Thor: Ragnarok, in theaters soon. Until next time, this is (y/n) with Entertainment Daily." (Is that a real thing? Idk, just go with it.)
"Okay, that was great," Anne said. "Great job as always, (y/n), do you need me to get you anything?"
"No, I'm fine. Tom?" You asked, looking over at the British man still sitting across from you.
"No, I'm alright, darling," he replied. "I do have a question though."
"That's fair enough, I got to quiz you for the past hour. Ask away," you joked, standing up from your chair.
"Are you going to be covering the premier? I'd love to see you again," Tom told you.
"Actually, I believe I am. But, if you'd like to see me before then, I'm not opposed to meeting up for coffee or something," you said smoothly, cursing yourself internally. One of the main rules for interviewers was no flirting with the celebrities. 'Oh well, there's no going back now.'
"Well, how about now?" Tom asked suddenly. You looked over to Anne, silently asking if you had another interview to do.
"Your next interview isn't for another three hours, I think you'll be alright," she said with a small smile. "Promise I won't say anything to Hopkins," she added, referring to your boss.
"Thank you," you told her. "Looks like I'm free," you said, directing your attention back to Tom.
"Great, shall we?" He replied with a grin, holding his arm out for you to take.
"We shall," you laughed, taking his arm. You looked over your shoulder to give Anne one last glance, seeing her shoot you a thumbs up and mouthing the words 'three hours'. You gave a small laugh before giving your attention back to the tall Brit who was currently taking you on a date of sorts. 'Hopkins is gonna kill me if he finds out.'
