Loki wasn't exactly sure what he had gotten himself into. Sam had offered to take him and Bucky out to a concert for some band that he's never heard of but Sam apparently knew the lead singer. It wasn't really his scene, the bevy of alternative teenagers who were anxiously awaiting whoever this band was a bit overwhelming. He much rather preferred going to a play or even a club, but Sam insisted that these tickets were too good to pass up.

"So, how do you know this singer again?" Bucky asked as the trio was led backstage before the concert.

"She's an old friend, (y/n) and I go way back," Sam said. "We pretty much grew up together."

"Isn't that the truth," Loki heard an unfamiliar voice say. He turned and saw a woman with short, (h/c) hair wearing some jeans and a t-shirt. "It's been too long, Sam."

"Guys, this is (y/n)," Sam said with a smile as he went to hug you.

"Hey, I'm-" Bucky started before you cut him off.

"Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes, it is an honor to meet you. What, the Star-Spangled Man with a plan couldn't make it?" You teased, looking over back at Sam. "And you are... Actually, I can't really place you," you said, turning to Loki.

"That's Loki," Sam provided for you.

"Wait, Loki as in 'take over this realm' Loki? Yeesh, and I thought I had an attitude problem," you said, shaking your head slightly. Loki was intrigued, instead of getting pissed off and yelling at him (as others tended to do when they realized who he was), you were simply joking around. "Anyways, it's great to see you again, Sam. The show starts in like ten minutes and I gotta do some last minute prep with the band. I'll see you all afterwards, right?"

"Oh most definitely, doll," Bucky said, shooting you a wink.

"Oo, guess I've gotta watch out for that fatal charm," you laughed. "But seriously, get to your seats. Mark!" You called out to a shorter man with dyed red hair. "Can you be a dear and take my friends to the VIP section? Thanks, Hun," you said before giving one last wave to the trio and then disappearing somewhere else backstage.

"What'd I tell you? She's great, huh?" Sam asked excitedly as Mark led them to a roped off area behind the pit but still close to the stage.

"Definitely a character," Bucky laughed. "How'd she know who I was? Like, my full name and everything?"

"She's a bit of a history nut. Even as a kid she loved the stories about Cap and the Howling Commandos. Peggy was her favorite though, just saying," Sam replied.

"And how did she not recognize me?" Loki asked.

"To be fair, you don't really look like a Rudolph-reject anymore, so that could be it. She was always more into history than current events," Sam shrugged. Loki was about to ask something else when he was cut off by the shrieks of nearly every teenager in the arena. "Shush, show's starting."

"What's up guys? We are Toxic Heart, and before we start, I just wanna say something really quick. We have three Avengers sitting in the crowd right now, so everyone give a huge cheer for Sam, Bucky, and Loki!" Once the cheering had died down, your band immediately launched into the first song.

Loki had to admit it: the show was great. Watching you playing your guitar as energetically as you could while still being in range of the microphone, seeing you interacting with the audience, the way that these teens embraced and obviously admired you, it was amazing. Despite having only met you for five minutes, the show made him feel as if he had known you for as long as Sam had. Before he knew it, you were announcing the final song of the encore. Soon after, you and the band said your good nights and went offstage. The man from before, Mark, told the trio that he would lead them back to where the band was.

"Hey, guys!" You said, jumping up from the couch that you were sitting on next to a girl with long hair and a backwards baseball cap. "This is the band: (b/f/n) plays bass, (f/n) plays guitar, and (different f/n) here plays drums," you finished, nudging the girl with the baseball cap a bit. Bucky and (b/f/n) seemed to gravitate towards each other, flirting steadily the entire time that they were talking. Meanwhile, the rest of the band was hanging out with Sam and Loki, joking around and exchanging stories from on the road.

"I wish I was lying, but some kid had found where we were staying and snuck into (f/n) and (d/f/n)'s room. You should've heard the scream that (d/f/n) let out," you laughed.

"You laugh now, but imagine just walking into your hotel room and seeing a random person just sitting on the bed waiting for you in the dark," (d/f/n) argued, but still laughing nonetheless. Loki watched with amusement, soaking in every detail, knowing that this would probably be the last time that he would see you.

"Hey, Lokes, you okay there?" You asked lowly, leaning towards him.

"Huh? Yes, I'm fine," he said, shaking out of his reverie. "How long are you guys going to be on tour for?"

"We've got a couple months left. But, forgive me if I'm being forward, once I get back, maybe we could go get a drink or something?" You asked, a faint blush on your cheeks.

"Yeah, I think I'd like that," he replied, a smile growing on his face.

"While I hate to cut this short, we should probably get going," Sam spoke up. "It was great to see you, (y/n)," he said, giving you a hug.

"Likewise, Sam. You might wanna separate (b/f/n) and Bucky if you ever wanna leave," you joked, nodding over to the pair.

"Right," Sam said before going over there.

"Do you think that I could get your phone number?" Loki asked once Sam had walked away.

"Of course, how else would I be able to bug you?" You joked. "But yeah, hand over the phone." Loki did as you said, watching as you put in your number and sent yourself a text. "There we go, we're all set."

"Loki, c'mon man! We've got work tomorrow," Sam called out.

"I'll see you after tour," you told him, hugging him briefly. "Bye, Bucky!" You called out to the other man.

"I'll definitely see you then," Loki told you, placing a kiss on your cheek before going to rejoin his friends.

"Oo, looks like you've got it bad already," (b/f/n) said, walking up to you.

"You're one to talk, I saw you with Bucky," you laughed. "C'mon, let's get to the bus," you said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and leading her out to where the tour bus was parked. You were definitely looking forward to finishing this tour, even though it'd take a couple more months.
