It's time for dinner.

I grab Tris's hand, who seems like she's holding back herself from saying something very rude to Caleb.

I don't blame her, I'm holding myself back too.

The cafeteria is packed with people. People who obviously don't belong in Amity are wearing red and yellow and either ignoring everyone or trying to get noticed.

It gives me a sick feeling.

Tris and I grab our food, dodging all of the curious stares from the other factions, and eventually sit down at a table with an obviously Abnegation girl, Caleb, and Peter.

The second Tris sits down I grab her hand and we pray over our food.

And then we eat.

The table is quiet for most of the meal, except occasionally when Peter makes a snide comment towards the food.

And all of a sudden, I can feel the presence of someone behind me.

My muscles tense.

I know this certain person's presence all too well.

Marcus.
