End of happiness?

-Misoiko POV-


"I have something to tell you.."
I took in a deep breath before speaking. "I'm..gay."
They both looked at me, wide eyed. We sat in silence before my dad burst with laughter. "Haha, good one son, I almost thought you were serious!"
"I am.." His laughter stopped abruptly. "What was that?"
"I'm serious..I really am gay."
Dad stared at me before silently getting up and heading into the living room. I could hear him getting his jacket and the car keys.
"What are you doing, Hun?" Mother asked. "I'm..going out for a bit." And with that, he left. Mom and I were left there In Silence.
"Misoiko..I'm..proud of you for coming out to us.." She said.
"Really..?" "Yeah. And..don't worry about your father, he just..needs time to process this."
I nodded in understanding and sat down next to her.
"So, do you..have a boyfriend?" She asked, looking down.
"Yeah." "Who is it..?" I hesitated before answering, "it's..Tsumi."
She looked shocked before saying.. "But that boy's straight..right..?!"
I nodded slightly. "I'm the first guy he's ever been with."
"Well..I'm happy for you though."
"Thanks, mom."
--later that night--
Around 10:30, my door burst open and a staggering figure walked in. When the moon light from my window hit it, I saw it was dad. He had a pissed expression as he trudged over to me.
"Damn it son..I raised you well, did I not? And now you've gone and fucking betrayed me, you little fag!" My eyes widened in fear. Next thing I knew, I was pulled off of my bed and thrown against a wall, having the air forced out of my lungs. I opened my clenched eyes to see him towered over me. Punch after punch, he began beating me, while I was curled up on the floor.
"Damn it, you fucking disgrace! What the fuck do you think you're doing with your life?! Having someone's dick shoved up your ass is no fucking way to live, you little fag!!"
He finally got up, kicked me hard In my side, and remarked.."no son of mine would be a fucking queer. You're a huge disgrace and let down to your family."
Then he exited the room, leaving me curled up crying.
(I knew he wouldn't be too happy..but I never would've thought..)

The fact that my friend really went through something like that..it's horrible. Oh, just to maybe help you feel better, he's living a pretty decent life now, without any more horrible beatings. Anyway..this chapter may be sad, and I can't say there won't be more bad chapters. But it gets happy, I promise..
