Unexpected

Chapter 10

I had just finished getting ready for my date with Cory and one thing I was very nervous. I had never been nervous around Cory before but for some reason I was now. Maybe it was because this was a different situation. This wasn't our normal chats and nights out it was a date.

After I got my bag I walked to his house as it wasn't far. When I got to his door I knocked it and he let me in. He took my coat and bag and he then kissed my cheek "I cooked your favourites," he said.

Soon enough it was time to eat and we sat together at his table. For our starter we had chicken soup. He knew I liked that and it was my favourite starter. We ate and then he looked at me "I feel a bit different sat with you,"

"Me too. I feel different but I don't know if that's a good thing,"

"Me either,"

He brought out the main which was roast beef, potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire puddings. I loved this so much. I didn't take me long to eat it as I was hungry. Since getting pregnant I had been hungry a lot of the time but only really when it was meal times and time to eat.

Pudding was soon out and it was chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. I loved this so much.

"You enjoying my food Jen?" Cory asked.

"It's amazing. Thank you,"

"It's no problem. I guess I should be saying thank you to you for actually agreeing to have a date with me,"

"Well after Emma spoke to me this afternoon it made sense,"

"Now I mentioned a walk on the beach. Would you like to do that?"

"Sure,"

We both got ready to go for a walk. I decided to leave my bag and coat at Cory's as I didn't need them. Cory came over and smiled "Lets go," he said.

I walked with Cory down to the beach as it wasn't far. It was very quiet on the beach and when we got there I took my shoes off and walked on the sand. I had gone with Emma's wardrobe choice and I had some blue ripped, skinny jeans, a red top and my red flats. Cory had said he liked red on me before. 

As we walked along the beach we went to the edge of the sea and we dipped our feet in. I liked walking along the edge of the water it was something I didn't do very often. Cory smiled at me "A penny for your thoughts,"

"I'm just thinking about the beach and how I haven't been here for a while,"

"Last time I came here was with you,"

"I remember,"

I then ran down the beach in the sea and soon felt Cory's arms around me being careful around my stomach. He cuddled me to him and my back was against him. This was something we had never done before. I smiled and felt him kiss my cheek. We had some fun on the beach and then we both sat down together on the sand. I smiled at him "I've had fun tonight. Thank you," I whispered softly.

"No problem. It's been fun for me too,"

"I'm glad,"

"Can I kiss you?"

"You want too?"

"I do,"

"Yes,"

He leant in to kiss me softly and our lips touched. This kiss was a bit different to the one a few days ago but it was better. I placed my hand on the back of his neck pulling him closer. I kissed him some more and then he pushed me down on the sand and leant over me and kissed me some more. I liked the kiss and it was nice. When I pulled away I sat up and he smiled at me "Thank you," he said.
