Unexpected

Chapter 16

I woke up in the morning and it was still early. The baby was moving around a lot and it woke me up and now I cant get back to sleep. Instead of waking up Cory I went downstairs and made myself some tea. I checked my phone to see Emma had text to say they were coming over at 4pm so we could all spend some time together. I loved Emma and Mark and their cute babies and spending time together was so much fun.

I drank some tea and then I went upstairs and decided to have a soak in the bath. When I ran the water I got in and then put the radio on quietly so I didn't wake Cory. I lay in the bath thinking about the baby.

The door opened and I saw Cory "Morning," he said.

"Hey,"

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"Because you looked peaceful and it's very early,"

"What time is it?"

"Well when I got up it was 6am,"

"Scoot forwards I'll join you in the bath,"

"Mmm... Okay,"

I moved forwards and then Cory undressed and got in the bath with me. He began running his hands up and down my back "Don't start something we cant finish,"

"Who says we cant,"

"Because I need to go food shopping,"

"Still it's only 6:30ish the shops don't open yet,"

"That's true. But you've just got in the bath,"

"Then we can soak for a while and then we can go to the bedroom,"

"I love you Cory,"

"I love you too and our baby,"

After a long soak in the bath I got out and wrapped a towel around myself and Cory did the same. We walked into the bedroom together and he smiled "Last night was amazing," he whispered into my ear.

"It truly was,"

Cory began to kiss me softly and I began to kiss him back. He pulled me over to the bed and then lay me down "We cant be too long I need to go shopping,"

"Stop worrying about doing things for other people and worry about yourself,"

"I'm not,"

Cory began to kiss down my neck and it made me squirm. He giggled and then kissed my lips.

I must have fallen asleep afterwards because I woke up and was lay in the bed alone. I got up and got changed. I walked downstairs and saw Cory putting pancakes on a plates for us "Smells nice," I said.

"They smell almost as good as you,"

"Mmm..,"

"Enjoy yourself?"

"Yeah it was amazing but we should eat and go shopping. What time is it?"

"It's 11am,"

"What?"

"11am,"

"I have loads to do in such a short time. Mark and Emma are coming over at 4pm,"

"What is there to do? I am here to help,"

"Go shopping for food. Then I want to get some flowers for the living room and dining room make things look nice and then I need to make a cake and then get on with cooking," 

"Come on calm down. I'll help you and it will all be fine I promise,"

"Okay,"

"Now lets eat breakfast and then we can go shopping,"
