Chapter 11

Katniss POV

"Open the door!" Peeta yells from outside the bathroom

I've been sitting in the bathroom for well over an hour now. Crying. About everything, my mom, my dad, Gales harassments, and even Prim. She isn't here right now, she's at Rues, but her nightmares aren't getting any better.

I sniffle "I'm fine."

"No you're not!" He says concerned

"Yes I am." I say wiping away my tears and opening up the door and walking to the guest room, or 'my room'.

"Liar!" He says following me "I know you were sitting in there crying. You can tell me what's wrong Kat."

"Everything is wrong." I say sadly tears still coming down my face as I try to wipe them away.

He embraces me and a nice warm hug. I bury my face in the crook of his neck.

"Are your crying because of your mom at the hospital?" He asks me softly

"Partially." I mumble with tears streaming down my face

"What else?"

"G-Gale." I stutter

"What about him?" He questions

I sigh "He has been harassing me a lot during school. He keeps asking me to date him and he keeps trying to kiss me. I know it's stupi-"

"No it's not. How long has he been doing this?" He asks worriedly

"Weeks." I say starting to cry again

He pulls me close to him and embraces me in another hug.

"It's okay." He says soothingly

"I don't k-know he won't s-stop." I say still crying

"Well I'll make him stop!" He says protectively

"You don't have too."

"I want too." He say kindly

I have to resist the urge to tell him I like him right there.

"Thank you." I say hugging him

"My pleasure!" He says smiling "now do you want to watch some movies with me? It's Friday night and I don't have anything else to do." He says laughing

"Sure." I say laughing also, wiping away the tears still on my face.

We walk down into the living room and end up watching 'Divergent.'

"Thank you for everything Peeta!" I say once again for the 100th time

"No problem!" He says laughing at me and my numerous times of saying thanks.

"I'm going to go to bed I'm tired." I say yawning

"Goodnight Katniss!" He says smiling

"Goodnight Peeta." I say walking into the bathroom once again.

I change into my pjs then lay down into a night full of nightmares.
