"You are his mother, you must know how amazing his voice is" I said and she gave me a small smile.

"It used to be amazing to me. No matter what others said" she replied while looking at the magazine in her lap.

"What do you mean? When was the last time you heard him singing?" I questioned her with bewilderment.

"He was very young. Eleven, I assume" she answered sadly and I gaped my eyes in surprise.

"You haven't heard his singing voice since?" I asked while staring at her.

"No, he stopped singing publicly after being bullied in school" she answered and looked at me.
"Really?" I was taken back by the new information of Amarion.

"Yes, he loved singing and his little voice was the cutest thing ever but as he grew up, his voice began cracking and he couldn't sing that well. And you know how people are. He was made fun of all the time. He couldn't face anyone. And he thought the only way to get away from it was giving up his passion. And just like that his singing voice went silent" she explained regretfully. Sorrow shadowed her face and I felt sad too.

"I gifted him a guitar on his twelfth birthday. He always wanted one and he was so happy but he refused to sing and I thought it was better not to
force him. I heard him play a lot of times but I always sought his voice in the music but.." she continued and gave me a small hopeless smile.

"Wait! You heard him sing?" She suddenly asked me.

"Yes, that's why I asked you" I replied, amused by the sudden change in her mood.

"When?" She asked with excitement.

"So many times. He sings for me. He even wrote a song for me" I answered with ecstasy and she grinned delightedly.

"Oh my God!" She squealed and pulled me into a hug.

"I thought you knew" I said as we pulled away.

"I think it is all because of you" she placed her palm on my cheek and I smiled.

"But I need your help" I told her and she gazed at me in confusion.

"When I was going through our pictures in his laptop, I saw this email from a talent show. He is asked to participate in it. I guess one of the event managers is friends with Sean. He emailed Amarion twice to try for the audition but he didn't respond" I told her and she grew even happier.

"My Amarion would be on a tv show" she exclaimed making Lily look at us.

"But we have to convince him. This could change his life" I said and she nodded.

"I know, you can do it" she replied and I smiled.

"Thank you for supporting me" I gazed at her with appreciation.

"I should thank you" she said.

"Mom, do you need help with the dinner?" Jade asked as she approached us in the living room.

Julian stared at me in disbelief and I grinned. Her expression was of "how many more surprises?"

"Did you both already make dinner?" Jade questioned as she glanced our expressions.

"No, my dear" Julian answered gladly.

"Then we should get started" Jade said as she headed for the kitchen.

Julian gazed at me and parted her lips to say something when Jade yelled from the mid way "Amour, you can stay there. It would just be mom and I in the kitchen today".
