I quickly pulled my cellphone out of my pocket. The screen flashed with 'Mom'. I answered.

"Where are you?" She asked in a worried tone.

"At the coffee shop" I replied casually.

"Oh! Still? How long are you going to take?" She questioned surprisingly.

"In a while" I answered while staring at the pages on the table.

"Okay. Get some milk from the store on your way" she said.

"Yes, I will. Bye" I replied.

"Bye" she hung up.

I locked and kept my mobile in my pocket. My gaze retreated to the white pages scribbled with blank ink. The pre conclusion part could be elaborated more. It seemed rushed. The portion of the paper at the bottom was wrinkled due to the tear which fell from my eye. Together it looked beautiful. The sunlight fell over the flower and it shadowed the words. I read it over and over. All of the agony and ecstasy were framed into paragraphs.

I shifted my gaze to the surroundings.

The sky had changed its color. The cars outside reduced in number. The buildings were no longer under the sunlit. Slowly, the commotion and traffic came to a rest. The customers in the shop left one by one. The soft bell rang whenever the door opened. Empty cups and plates lay on the various tables. Only a few new people came in. The classical furniture was replaced from its position. The employees continued their work in a fast pace. The paintings hung on the walls shook when the door to the kitchen was closed. The corners grew darker as the natural light was diminishing. The window glass reflected me. Reminding of the nightmare I had. I tried not thinking about it but somewhere it has to have a meaning. I needed to find it.

A waiter emerged from the counter and asked if I required anything more. I thanked him and informed that I didn't want anything else. As he returned, I looked down at the paper.

I held my pen between my fingers and played with it while thinking. The key to moving on is? What do I lack? I've tried to forget him but that's impossible. I struggled to stop loving him but that won't occur either. Because love happens. Similarly, it'll end itself. I'm not sure if love has a conclusion. So, I should accept the fact that I love him and proceed with it. That would ease things. I smirked at the thought.

But what about the dream? Why was my body asking aid from my soul? And what was the grey cloud of smoke? Eternal will rescue? It was really difficult to sort. The more I tried to solve the more questions arose.

I sighed and stared at my table. Suddenly, my cellphone buzzed again. I glanced the caller ID. It was Amarion. I pressed the phone to my ear.

"Hey" he greeted.

"Hey. You were supposed to be unavailable?" I questioned.

"Yeah. But I got some time and network. So, called you" he reasoned and I could sense him smiling.

"That's sweet" I managed to say with a smile.

"What were you doing?" He asked in an excited tone.

"I was at the coffee shop" I replied in monotone.

"Alone?" He questioned.

"Hm"

"Is everything okay?" He asked with concern.

"Yeah. Just another hang over" I bit my lower lip.

"Oh. Good thing I called you" he replied in a cheerful tone.
