A/N Fifty? Really? Keep reading my lovely readers!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Amarion turned back and gave me a look.
"Yeah, this hairstyle is good too" I said while shaking the cold thoughts.
"Not the hairstyle, what's wrong with you?" He asked, shocking me.
"Nothing, I'm fine" I lied whilst gazing at his raised eyebrows.
"I'm not buying that" he rolled his eyes and walked towards me.
"No, everything is fine" I faked a smile. He sat down and kept his hands on my knees.
"Hey babe, I'm sorry okay if anything of what I've said a while ago, had hurt you" he apologised whilst holding my cheek. I looked into his hazel eyes. They shone with integrity. It was astonishing how he could sense my uneasiness and even more surprising were his efforts to drive my difficulties away. He never apologised to me for hurting me, I was not even sure if he was remorseful at all. But Amarion was different. He would never hurt me, not even unintentionally. He was too careful. He held me like I'm fragile. Maybe I was. And that one look into his eyes made me feel safe and warm. The chills were no longer there. I realised how secured I was with Amarion by my side.
"I enjoyed your teasing. I know you'll never hurt me, not even unintentionally. And why would I be not okay if you're here with me?" I said and kissed his forehead.
"Of course, have faith on me. Don't you ever feel insecure" he replied and hugged me. He smiled at me and placed the strand of my hair behind my ear. I couldn't help blushing.
"Let's go downstairs" he said and held my hand. I nooded and stood up. He opened the door and peeped outside.
"All clear" he informed and I giggled.
We walked out of the room and knocked on Jade's door.
"I'm coming. You go Amour" she yelled.
"Okay. Good morning by the way" I greeted but she didn't respond.
"She ain't a morning person" Amarion reasoned.
"She is not even a night person" I replied and Amarion chuckled.
I beamed and watched him as he laughed. He was adorable.
"Okay. Now go to the kitchen. Mom's there" he apprised and pecked my lips.
I smiled at him and headed downstairs.
"Good morning" I said loudly.
"Good morning to you too honey" Julian squealed.
We had a conversation while serving the breakfast. Amarion's father had left early for office and Lily's school bus was early too.
"So, did you talk to Jade?" She asked. I hit my forehead mentally. I had completely forgotten about it.
"Didn't get a chance. I'd try today" I said.
"Sure. We agreed on thirteen days anyways" she replied while snickering.
Soon, Amarion joined us, followed by Jade. We had our breakfast in an awkward silence. No one really spoke a word. I just passed a few compliments on the delicacy of the food and Julian briefly thanked.
"I have a few errands to run" Julian informed as she finished eating.
"I'll be back by afternoon" she continued.
"Sure" Amarion and I said simultaneously.
Jade smirked.
I looked away and pursed my lips.
"I have to go" Jade stood up and grabbed her school bag which hung on the chair.
"Bye everyone" she said and ran to the door.
"I'll leave too" Julian said but then stopped as she looked at the table.
"Don't worry. I'll clean it up" I assured.
"That's really sweet of you unlike somebody" she gazed at Jade who was unlocking the door.
I beamed "really it is no problem".
She went to the her room and brought her purse. She kissed on my cheek which took me by surprise.
"Take care" she said as she left the house.
I waved my hand and watched as she imitated my gesture energetically. Gradually her car and Jade's bus disappeared.
Amarion kept his hand on my waist and whispered in my ear "it is just you and me now".
"Yeah" I replied, still in shock that we were actually left alone in that big house.
"Let's go inside" he said and I followed him.
"Amour" Amarion yelled.
"What?" I giggled.
"I love you" his voice echoed in the empty house.
"And I love you too" I shouted back.
"Very dark" he yelled.
"Lovely spark" my voice reverberated.
We both looked at each other and laughed."There is something I want to show you" he apprised and grabbed my hand.
"What?" I asked in bewilderment.
"Just follow" he replied while dragging me towards the part of the house where I hadn't been.
He stopped in front of a door and pulled out his handkerchief from his pocket.
"What are you doing?" I questioned.
"Relax. I'm going to blindfold you and not suffocate or something" he answered sarcastically.
"You're starting to sound more like Jade" I teased."Older brother, remember?" He replied as he blindfolded me.
"Okay, how many are these?" He asked.
"Two?" I guessed.
"You can see?" He exclaimed.
"No! Just a lucky guess" I yelped.
"Now?" He questioned.
"Five?" I bit my lip.
"Okay just hold my hand" he said and grabbed my wrist.
"But how many were there?" I questioned. I couldn't see but I was sure he had rolled his eyes.
I laughed at his silence. He guided me inside the room perhaps.
After a while of walking, we stopped.
"Stay here don't move" he whispered in my ear.
I remained blinded and still for some time.
What was he doing? I couldn't possibly think of anything. But whatever it was, I was excited.
I heard guitar strings moving and I immediately smiled. I could also smell something sweet like scented candles. I was too eager to open my eyes. The music became louder and so did my heartbeat. The music was something I hadn't listened to before. But it sounded enchanting. The sweet scent grew stronger and my thoughts became rapid.
"Open your blindfold" Amarion said.
I removed the handkerchief from my eyes quickly and became flabbergasted as I witnessed the surprise.
