My dad pulled up the car into the driveway of Amarion's house. The bungalow was enormous. I stared at the large gate. My dad asked me to ring the bell. I got of the car and timidly pressed the door bell. A pretty woman attended me. Her hazel eyes indicated that she was Amarion's mother. I greeted her and introduced myself. She offered me to come in. I waved at dad and he imitated and left. I stepped in the house and was already mesmerised by its beauty. The hall was spacious. A couple of doors could be seen on the either sides. The kitchen was straight ahead from my position and the dining hall was situated beside it.

"Have a seat dear" Amarion's mother suggested genuinely. I settled myself on the couch. The living area was sophisticated yet modernised. The couch was black and white. The carpet in the center was designed with a combination of black, red and white. The curtains matched it. The coffee table in the midst had a few books on it and a big rubec's cube. I glanced the rest of the things. Amarion's mother headed for the kitchen and told me that Jade is having a shower.

"Have some juice" Amarion's mother approached me with two glasses of juice. She settled the tray on the table. She handed me the delicate tumbler. The juice was yellow in colour.

"Home made mango juice" she informed with a smile.

"Thank you so much" I thanked her and took a sip.

"This is really good" I complimented and moaned slightly.

"Jade never drinks juices but Amarion simply loves this" she complained.

"Why wouldn't anyone?" I asked.

"Jade won't" she answered annoyingly.

I half smiled at her.

"I'm Julian by the way" she introduced herself.

I didn't know how to respond. I just smiled. My cheeks were aching.

"Beautiful house" I complimented.

"Thank you" she thanked me while drinking the delicious juice.

"You're welcome. I'm sure all of these are your ideas" I said and pressed my lips.

"Hmm. Amarion and mine" she replied softly.

"You both got really good taste" I expressed my opinions regarding their choices.

She asked me a few more questions. Mostly, about my interests and friends. She was too sweet and humble. I couldn't resist her company.

"I wonder how Jade and you became friends?" She asked me out of the blues.

I couldn't help laughing. She joined me in my laughter. "I don't know. An accident?" I answered her out of breath.

"No doubts. She can be very annoying at times" Julian conveyed my thoughts.

"I heard some laughter. Mom who is with you?" The irritating voice asked. Jade descended from the staircase on the right side.

"She is coming" Julian whispered and ceased her guffaw.

"Oh! You're here Amour" Jade rushed and hugged me. She was in her bath robe.

"Yeah. You could've got dressed. I could wait" I advised her.

"Yeah. I heard mom laughing and got worried. She never laughs that much" Jade reasoned with concern.

"How can I laugh at your face?" Julian questioned hilariously in a low voice.

Gladly, Jade didn't hear her. Jade grabbed my hand and took me to the staircase. I gave Julian an assuring look. She winked at me. Within a matter of seconds, I became a good friend of hers. She is a lovely woman. No wonder, Amarion received the qualities from her.
