"Get ready, we have to leave soon" mom yelled and turned the knob of the washing machine.

"Yeah, what to pack?" I asked in a low voice. My shoulder leaned against the door panel and my arms crossed on my chest.

"Whatever I've kept on the bed" mom replied and shut the lid. "Hang these as well" she tossed a lump of partially wet clothes to me and ordered.

"Okay" I murmured and dropped the clothes on the table. One by one, I suspended the wet clothes and headed to my parents' room where all the garments, to be packed, were scattered.

I found a black bag on the other side of the bed. I unzipped it and placed the dresses after neatly folding them. At the bottom most were my mom's clothes followed by mine and my younger brother's. At the top, laid my dad's shirts and pants.

I then looked around for other stuff. The underwear! I crumbled all the inner wears into two balls, respective of their gender. I stuffed them both on the either sides of the pocket inside the bag. I then placed a packet of sanitary pads as my periods hadn't showed up yet although it had been two weeks for the due date.

Ugh! That irritated me. Whenever there was a delay in the arrival of my monthly friend I got furious. Why? Well, because it caused a lot of crashing pain in my abdomen and my thighs ached consistently. It felt as if my lower body was undergoing malfunction. As a result, I was grumpy and grouchy all day.

In addition to that idiot who popped into my mind every little while. I was damn done with my situation right.

Yes, I thought about him at times. But it's not like I missed him. I just got reminded of his selfishness. The moments we had spent were the only things I missed. Besides, he ain't the one I loved anymore.

To be honest, I didn't love him at all. The feelings and the hurt burning sensations were all gone. I felt more mature and free than before. I didn't feel helpless and desperate like I did a few months back. Or maybe there were excuses I made for my mind.

I knew what all I ever needed to recover was time. Gladly, I was a step away. I hadn't managed to spend a day without thinking about him. Although hatred was fuming inside me and growing with each day. I still had to remove his thoughts. It had become more of a habit because I used to spend all my time imagining him. I really wanted to erase everything from my mind. The day I won't think about him for a single moment, would be the most victorious moment of my life.

Back to the point, I was going out of town. I liked trips but not that one. It was the town where he worked but he was on a vacation. There weren't any chances I'd be facing him . Actually, he used to live with my uncle and that's how I got to know him. I didn't know what my reaction would be after seeing the house. The house which I willed to visit to see him ever since our relationship started. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately, I didn't get to.

That was weird. The whole year, no matter how much I prayed or tried to go, I couldn't. There were obstacles. And when I didn't want to go, I was forced to, by my luck of course.

Was life helping me move on? If I saw that house without him it may aid me visualise all normal things without him. My destiny wasn't that rude after all. I smirked at that thought. Sarcasm ran through my veins.

I pulled the bag down from the bed. I rushed to the bathroom and grabbed my toothbrush. I didn't speak or even open my mouth before brushing my teeth. Like I did that day. Duh! Why did every small thing had a memory of his attached to it?

I was too lazy to change. I decided to not change and leave in the same dress. It was a pink and long top and white baggy lower.

I pulled on my black cloak and scarf. It was too hot outside. But the Air conditioner of my dad's car was too good.
